At the end of the day, it is just comfort food for the craving of Hokkien Mee in PJ. We don’t believe they offer the best hokkien mee but when you crave for Hokkien Mee, Restoran Damansara Uptown Hokkien Mee is one of the few places to visit.
The Hokkien Mee is delicious. This tick noodle is cooked with pork lard and thick soya sauce, added with shrimps, crispy pork skin, and cabbage. It is very rich in flavor, melty sweet savoury in the mouth with a tiny bit crunchy texture from crispy pork skin, cabbage, and shrimp. It is very yummy, especially when I added their garlicy chilly sauce. YUMMM…

9/10. A really excellent place to eat! Really cheap, really good! Probably the highest rating I’ve given on this blog, because this place has consistently delivered good food, never once disappointing me. Really fast and pretty good service to boot, as well!
Taste:8/10(Good. Although this restaurant name is hokkien mee and known for their signature dish, but I found out their hokkien beehoon taste better. Advantage that they have is their crunchy pork lard which is yummy).
The price of their Hokkien Mee is RM 11.90 for one pax and that is surely way higher than any other Hokkien Mee joint in the Klang Valley. However, it is truly worth it. The dish itself is quite moist and the overall flavours are truly excellent. Do add on some Pork Lard and it gives an extra crunch to the noodles. My rating for this noodles is 8/10.
我点了招牌福建麵、炒饭,还有猪油渣!没错,这里的特色就是也可以点超级香的猪油渣。
Kam Heong Fried Lala RM18.00 is the Chef Recommendation dishes in this restaurant, this seafood dish tastes divine with an aromatic spicy curry flavour which is a perfect feat for any of the noodles dishes.
Ambiance: 5.5/10 Price: 6.5/10 Food: 7/10 (non halal) Verdict: Still one of the better Hokkien Mee out there.
For both outlet, there are flaws here and there and overall food range they have, I prefer the other outlet. However for this outlet, I prefer their Stir Fried Hokkien Mee.
