The food at Restoran Foo Hing Dim Sum Puchong is good especially their Portuguese Egg Tarts, out of the world. The prices of dim sum is pretty the same with others which is expensive. Dim sum is rich man’s food nowadays if you agree with me on this statement. I don’t go to dim sum restaurants often anymore, just once in a blue moon and that is the reason why you need to go to a good one like Restoran Foo Hing Dim Sum Puchong.
This is a nice and satisfying dim sum meal in Klang Valley. I can't pin point what particular dishes are better, since all of them are served pretty fast. The quality is there. There is always a..
Foo Hing Dim Sum restaurant is one of the recommendation to hunt for dim sum by my friend and one of the best and most famous dim sum place in this part of Puchong town.
The most popular dim sum in Puchong. As a local, I seldom come as the place is too crowded.
Food is good, that is for sure. I ate like a pig, lol, ate all the dim sum I could possibly want and crave. Yum! I wouldn’t know if what my boss said was true, that this is one of the few good dim sum shops in this part of the city, as I myself haven’t been to many but tastewise – it is goooood.
The rest are not too bad as their chicken feet is good, pack with flavour and soft to my liking
The famous Portuguese Egg Tart- RM2.50 per piece. Foo Him Dim Sum's specialty is this Portuguese Egg Tart. It has many fine layers of crispy skin. The egg filling is soft, fluffy and not too sweet. Well, indeed, it is one of best Portuguese Tarts that I have tasted. I even 'tapao'(packed) home some, but it doesn't taste as good if it has been kept for more than 5 hours as the skin will turn soft.
I also discovered a very beautiful thing – this is chee cheong fun with egg. It doesn’t sound like much and it looks quite pedestrian but it’s delicious! They fry an egg with lots of oil so it bubbles up Chinese-style, and roll it in the CCF. You get the familiar comfort of a fried egg with the slippery texture of the thin rice wraps. It’s surprisingly good. This came highly recommended from May and I’m glad I had it. It’s something I wouldn’t have discovered by myself. Simple, yet delectable.
I personally recommend the horns here. The mud skin has a thickness of more than 0.5cm.
A good variety of Dim Sum from morning till after lunch.
Overall, Foo Hing is a decent place for a no-frills suburban dim sum meal. If we were given a choice to choose again, we would have our dim sum at Jin Xuan then walk over here to take away the Portuguese egg tarts.
So I tried on last two weeks. Overall, I felt the food was So-So only, maybe I ordered the simple item? Let's check out the order list.
