Very spicy! I think the restaurant "The Porki Society" was popular for their Boat Noodles in amongts folks in SS2 or PJ area.
Pad Thai, 11.90 ringgit. Now this dish, was da bomb. Delicious. You’d get a plate of sticky, gooey noodles + peanut crumbs + pork meat + tauhu + bean sprouts, mix it all up and yummmmmm!! Of course, add in some chili oil into the mix and it even gets much better. This is worth every penny.
The Porki Society is a Thai restaurant in Sea Park just minutes’ drive away from SS2. They made waves with their boat noodles a couple of years ago when those were still considered the must try food in Klang Valley. Now, The Porki Society is perhaps better well known for their affordable and well executed Thai pork dishes, which I have to say are deserving of their reputation
BBQ pork rice set lunch which includes a cup of lemongrass drink at MYR12.90++ (6% service charge and 6% GST) which is MYR14.50 nett. Even without the dipping sauce, the BBQ pork is very tasty, not too salty, not too sweet but very flavourful. I kept almost all the pork and half the rice in my trusted container for my spouse to try.
Thai Style Pork Slices RM8.90 We recommended Thai Style Pork Slices – A bowlful of boiled pork slices topped with plenty of chilli and garlic, drizzles of lime juices. Spicy and sourish concoction, flavouring up the surprisingly tender and not tough-and-dry meat.
Porki Signature Fried Rice (RM 12.90) Enjoy the amazingly delicious porki delights where the delicious. Enjoy this awesomelious products that will definite tempt you till the fullest. The fried rice is fragrantly done and each comes simply flavourful.
Ambiance: 6/10 Price: 6/10 Food: 5.5/10 (non halal) Verdict: Try the Basil Leaf Eggplant with Minced Pork rice set.
Verdict : Overall this would be a Boat Noodle shop for those who crave some pork in it, of course with a little more of the side dishes and the decor adding to the whole traditional recipe feel. Definitely one to look out for should one stop by Seapark. True to their name, they do well in terms of porkiness. All porky goodness reasonably priced below RM5. We will definitely be back for more! 😀
