We also ordered the lamb with lime sauce…and I only found out that night that they had mayonnaise in it with the lime. It was nice but I think it was nicer when we had it before – the meat was not grilled that well enough.

This very nice claypot fish dish…which was very nice though I wouldn’t mind a little bit more fish and yam and tofu puffs – the next time I order that, I will certainly ask for more of those and maybe, pay a little bit more.

We had the sizzling venison on a hot plate…something we had not had for quite sometime and the general consensus was that it was very nice.

There was this claypot pork belly with salted fish and pork belly…that was really good, especially with the fragrance and taste of the salted fish.

This was their grilled lamb with lemon sauce…and yes, it was really good except that I thought the serving was kind of small. Probably that is because lamb does not come cheap here but anyhow, there was enough to go round. Of course, my girl had the lion’s share – she so loves lamb!

He loved the fried mee sua…which was something new to him – he had not heard of it done this way, much less eaten it and after his initial surprise upon finding out that it was mee sua (Foochow longevity noodles) and not bihun (rice vermecelli), he tried it and loved it!

We ordered the omelette with lap cheong (Chinese sausage)…for my brother-in-law in particular as he loves the ones cooked outside.

Lemon chicken It turned out all right…but no, it was not one that would get us rushing back for more, not this one here. To give credit where credit is due, they used fresh lemon or lime but it had a slight kind of bitter taste. Probably instead of squeezing out the juice for use, they threw everything in the blender, skin and all.

My girl said she would love the Thai-style mango chicken…and it was really very nice that day. For one thing, the mango was very sweet – I probably would not enjoy it as much if it had been sour. Fat people don’t like sour things. Hehehehehe!!!

we also had their salted egg spare ribs…– I had that before, twice, I think, but this time around, it was simply out of this world – so very generous with the salted egg yolk and the taste sure swept everyone off their feet.
