The queuing system was systematic and customers were waiting patiently for their turn. I am quite surprised that no one complains or makes a fuss for the long wait during the whole dining session. Neverthless, I will be back to try their cheese steamboat and other zhi char dishes provided I do not need to queue for more than 30 minutes. Our whole dinner session from queuing till the end was 3 hours plus. This is the longest wait I ever experienced in Malacca.
Tong Sheng Restaurant in Melaka is known for its cheese prawn mee hoon, which I tried two weekends ago on my way back to Kuala Lumpur from Johor Baru. Get there early, as the queue starts even at 6.30pm.
