Stir Fried Raddish Cake in XO Sauce RM10.50 Stir Fried Raddish Cake aka Chao Loh Bak Gou, our personal favourite in Royal Canton. Squares of raddish cake, stir fried together with chives, preserved vegetables, bean sprouts and egg in XO Sauce. Love the wok-hei, with smoky burnt bits that really enhance the overall taste.

Our Lala King aka Baby D was delighted when the Steamed lala steam in superior soup (RM18/500g) arrived at our table. The lala clams were fresh and sweet, cooked in a deliciously spicy superior stock with ginger and cili padi. Both the kids had two bowls of this.. yum!

After our scrumptious dim sum lunch at Royal Canton KL last month, we returned over the weekend to sample their famous roasted meats and other items off their a la carte menu. During the school holidays last week, we took BabySumoKids for dim sum at Royal Canton, located in DC Mall. Previously known as Canton Fare, they relocated to this new mall late last year and are now offering Hong Kong dim sum as well as roasted meats which they are renowned for. The dim sum menu is available daily (from 12pm on weekdays and 10.30am on weekends) and features steamed, deep fried and baked dim sum, steamed rice rolls, porridge, steamed buns and desserts. Royal Canton prides themselves with serving their customers only freshly made dim sum (never frozen), with no preservatives or artificial colouring used in their dim sum.
