It was an excellent meal today either way, featuring not just high-quality seafood cooked delicately, but also attentive service and gorgeous porcelainware.
Available from S$118++ per person, this exclusive five-course menu with three glasses of Champagne, will be available on Saturdays and Sundays, from 12 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. until 15 November 2020.
Food wise, there is no dish which I did not enjoy, and I would gladly be back for more of the dim sum again.
I enjoyed great food with awesome ambiance and impeccable service.
must be a really expensive dinner this, at a place like summer pavilion, but standard of food below par..suckling pig ok, soup ok, scallop poor, crabmeat broccoli so so…
Dimsum and selected ala carte items are their signature and I guess I'd stick with their set menus and dimsum in future.
Chinese Executive Chef Cheung Siu Kong has done well with this menu. You have abalone, wagyu, and lobster as highlights but each course has its own appeal.
I was impressed by the consistency of the dishes I tried this time round at Summer Pavilion. The food is good – with very pleasant twist to each of the dishes I had here, with the ambience and service befitting of a Michelin starred restaurant. Can’t wait to plan for a return visit to try the dim sum next!
The best dish of the day, or perhaps the best dish we have eaten in recent months, was the poached rice with lobster ($20)
Ambience, decor, service and how comfortable I feel dining in a restaurant are all important factors to me when it comes to enjoying a meal out. If it were just the quality and taste of food, home cooking would have sufficed!
3 reviews of Summer Pavilion "Great food and service. Starter: Long bean. Deep fried lobster roll, prawn paste & breaded vermicelli - superb, crispy, light & not oily. Deep fried crab - didn't like the cheesy taste. Otherwise, it was good.…
The new Summer Pavilion is a winning combination with its modern interior design.
Overall, I was impressed with Summer Pavilion on many levels – its lush décor, the professional service rendered, attention to detail, and quality of Chef Cheung’s dishes.
A definite standout from the menu is the Double-boiled Cartilage Soup ($56 per person) – a rich, almost creamy, full-flavoured concoction with chicken, and premium bird’s nest served stuffed within sea cucumber.
