      Broga Hill is located in the town of Semenyih, Selangor, Peninsular Malaysia. It is also known as Bukit Lalang or Bukit Broga. Standing at 400m tall, it is a relatively simple hike which offers a panoramic view of the Broga town. As such, it can get really crowded during the weekends during the morning and evening hours.

        As with all hiking trails to hill tops, the aim is to be there on the hill top before the hot sun, thus it meant to be on the hiking trail before the sun rises. This is the optimum time as you would not be getting a very bad sun burn. Thus optimum time would be around 5am or 6am to arrive at the foot of Broga Hill. Being early also ensures the air is least polluted thus ensuring a healthy trip for one.

            There are two ways up, the old way and the new way. The second round of the fee collection of RM1 per person is for the new way up. The old way up is more steep and challenging.

                There are no public transportation services to the foot of Broga Hill. The easiest and most convenient way to go by Car. Despite the large crowd Broga Hill attracts, the car park is big and there is sufficient parking space available at the foot of the mountain. The entrance to Broga Hill is within a plantation which serves as a carpark. On weekends, an attendant might be there collecting RM2.00 as parking fee. [Update: 9/4/17: the attendant is now collecting parking fees charged at RM1 per passenger].

                  Up to date 2017 , The parking fees in the palm estate has increase RM1 from RM2 to RM3 per entry , there will be someone standing at the entrance to collect the fees from you . after that just park where ever you want because the palm estate have a huge space to park , and RM 1 fees for toilet usage per entry .

                    I went hiking at Broga Hill with hubby and his friends on last Sunday morning. It was supposedly their plan, friends-only-hiking-trip with beers and all, but I shamelessly tagged along. Overly attached girlfriend I am. In fact, I wasn't completely a crasher after all as I was fully welcomed... I guess. :) But, I felt regret immediately when I stepped out my first step to the peak. My mind was like "Why am I here?" during the whole hiking process. And, after not getting any sleep for the last 24 hours, my hiking experience became much more worse! I can't help but felt dizzy and drowsy the whole time. "Why do I have to torture myself like this?"
