Their octopus is tender, and I gobbled up their meze and fried anchovies too. I'd like to come back to try more of their seafood, but need to remember to bring a group of people since this is really food that's best shared.
Moussaka was also not bad, I thought I detected something like goat's cheese in it.
Delicious as the food is, the service, however, is not great right from the start.
Their paidakia was nicely grilled with respectable char marks to a medium doneness.
I was full of hope that Bakalaki would be my new favorite Greek joint in Singapore but i guess not. More misses than hits from this meal and the prices were also on the high side.
If you would love to try Greek cuisine, NAHMJ will recommend BAKALAKI Greek Taverna.

The next thing I worry about, is about the crowd that will pack in.
The only drawback to this meal was that we were only two so we didn’t get to try as many dishes as I might have liked. On the plus side, my meal was a great intro to Bakalaki and I’m sure I’ll be back with a big group to have a proper Greek feast.

The prices in the menu are not low but considering the quality of food and the enjoyable experience, this is one restaurant we do not hesitate recommending to anyone who likes Greek food.
