The main star of the menu seemed to be the handmade pasta, so we ordered that for what was supposed to be late tea but turned into an early dinner. For its price, given how it’s made from scratch, I’d say it’s worth the buck, as other cafes charge just as much for commercial pasta anyway.

We loved how smooth the soft serve was – it wasn’t too icy as well.

The fresh pasta was definitely the highlight of the visit - the springiness is a quality that only occurs in fresh pasta and the tagliatelle definitely did its job to cling to all the saucy arrabiata. The arrabiata sauce had a nice consistency but was a bit mild for me and could've been better seasoned. The seafood was fresh and there was a rather generous portion of it.

Little People at Avantas Residence, Old Klang Road KL, a nice cafe that serves great coffee and food in minimalism design dining space. Same row with Kimiya Japanese Restaurant.

They had a small menu when I visit, yet swinging with potential but couldn’t quite getting the omph. Not because of any lack in execution, it’s only about getting the right combination of choices of ingredients. Polenta served with very little fresh greens and a mix of mushroom assortment that I left untouched was to me, still a dish with a glimmer of excellence. One element brilliant and another the foil, both heaven and hell on one plate, and yet I will repeat this order on my next visit The freshly made polenta was amazing but if Little People is going to lure adventurous eaters, simply nailing the polenta isn’t going to cut it. Thankfully, the pasta is served with clever tweaks on the portion while a beautifully balanced sauce and pasta pays homage to the contemporary café culture.
