The experience at Mighty Monster was good enough but ultimately forgettable. However, this is one of the few places to get western food at MyTOWN Shopping Centre. MyTOWN is overwhelmingly Asian restaurants and cafes, and I’m just not feeling that kind of food often. The menu at Mighty Monster has enough tempting dishes that we would consider eating here again.

Overall cook noodles and sadly 3 slices of duck meat for real? Im paying RM 26 and I get 3 slices of duck breast meat which not even half of a full size duck breast meat.

Mighty Duck Ramen (RM 28) A hot bowl of ramen comes next where the sous-vide duck breast in peking marinate, 63 degree Celcious egg, goba roots, crispy Chinese broccoli and freshly made Japanese noodles in a miso based broth topped with the wakame salad.

Cheese Fondue Chicken RM61.90 This is a very sinful dish! Sweet and spicy boneless roasted chickens on a bed of cheese, twirling the gooey cheesy around the chicken while heat up. Oh my god! can you imagine the hot cheesy covered the flavourful chicken in your mouth? It was so nice!

I love their waffle with 2 scopes of ice cream (i tink only RM21), you can choose from 62% dark chocolate ice cream, 80% dark chocolate ice cream, milk chocolate ice cream etc. My favourite is their darkest chocolate ice cream, it looks like charcoal color, and a lower cocoa percentage. So good. MUST TRY!!!

There are four types of soup to choose from - shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, miso and kimuchi. We went for the shabu-shabu and kimuchi. From the Healthy Bar, you will find different types of mushrooms (enoki, Eryngii, shitake, oyster), vegetables (spinach, lettuce, pak choi, leeks, corn, Chinese cabbage, carrot), tofu, udon, shirataki noodles, lala clams, sausage, fish cake, fish balls, and much more. You can also help yourself to the sushi at the bar. Suki-Ya is an all-you-can-eat place, so help yourself to anything you like. The price is RM31.90++ for adults and half price for kids for lunch (11am-5pm). There will be a RM2 surcharge on weekends. For dinner, price is RM39.80++. Kids under 4 eat for FREE. We ordered Beef Steak set and Sashimi set both paired with garlic rice (you can opt for white rice too), love the dipping soy sauce with cut cili-padi (always goes well with the grill beef). This has definitely been adjusted to suit local taste buds.

I also bought a peanut butter, blueberry jam burger to try like I said I would. The menu price is MYR 19+ (6% SST = MYR 20.15 nett). Surprisingly, the blueberry jam goes well with the beef patty but the peanut butter gives out oil that felt like it could give me a sore throat so I don't think I will eat this burger again.

This pared down version of a bigger restaurant has really whetted our appetite for the larger one, and we’d be very happy to go back here. Simply, we didn’t have a dish we didn’t really enjoy. There are a few decent places in MyTown, but this is the best so far. Highly recommended.

Famous for their waffles, the Owls Cafe from Bukit Jalil has opened an outlet in MyTown. We’ve been to their original outlet, and found their waffles to be among the best in Klang Valley.

A pack of long fries at MYR 9.50 nett. Long fries are basically thin and long sticks made from the same batter as churros. I chose nacho cheese sauce instead of cheddar cheese or spicy sauce because I did not want a spicy sauce and when I asked the cashier on the difference between nacho cheese and cheddar cheese, she said that nacho cheese sauce is salty whereas cheddar cheese sauce is creamier and on the sweet side and I prefer salty. The long fries taste similar to yao zhar kwai (chinese cruellers) but is crispier. I did not count how many sticks there are in the pack but I think there are about 10 sticks.

I personally feel that the Filling Churro is more enjoyable as the creamy filling melts in the mouth as we bite through the crisp piping hot churro. Again, my favourite is the lightly Cream Cheese filled churro, which is slightly more savoury but not overpowering. Good to try even if you may not be a fan of cheese.

Personally, I was impressed by their Penang Famous Prawn Mee @ RM13.90 because the soup had a fresh and deep prawn flavor. This is by far the best tasting Penang style prawn noodle I have had in any cafe/restaurant in KL, moreover a halal one

We have eaten at the Sheng Kee branch in MyTown Mall a few times and the food tastes fine but this time the food does not taste as good as before so I guess it will be our last time there. Sui Gao and Char Siew wanton mee in soup at MYR 17.90++ (10% service charge and 6% SST = MYR 20.76 nett).

If you are big fans on pork belly, be sure having Sheng Kee’s braised pork rice (梅菜扣肉饭) RM16.90 featuring steam rice topped with braised pork belly slices and Muy Choi (preserved cabbage). The braised sliced pork is succulent juicy while combined with a fragrant aroma of Muy Choi, tastes even more delicious if mixing them all together before starts digging in.

SK Signature Combination Noodles (Dry) - MYR 18.90++ (10% service charge and 6% GST making it MYR 22.05 nett). The combination food items are: BBQ pork (Char Siew), 3 Wantons and 2 Sui Kow dumplings. My friend did not like the gravy of this noodle - she says that the gravy tastes as if it has a budget version of sesame oil in it but the texture of the noodles is nice - soft yet springy. A small bowl of broth accompanies this dry noodle dish.

Crispy Chocolate Pastry and Molten Lava Chocolate Filling when it is warm. I love its rich dark chocolate with a hint of bitter taste so I am going to buy it again. Overall it is not very sweet and costs MYR 3.95 nett.

Wow!Honey Chips (RM 13.90) The signature of Softree where you can enjoy the thick luscious honey drips off the honeycomb and into your equally delicious organic milk soft serve ice cream at Softree. Not too sweet but with the fragrance of honey in it. Nice one!

Service was great. Staffs are polite and keep check with us if everything was OK. Despite the food price is not cheap, but worth it. The quality says it all.
