Tadi kite ada cite yang hotel ni sekali dengan Element Mall kan, tapi dalam mall ni tak ada apa sangat pon, banyak kosong. Tapi kat tingkat paling atas, ada skydeck yang kita boleh naik dan tengok view bandar Melaka. Untuk penginap hotel Double Tree dan Hatten Place, nak naik ke sky deck tu free je ya, masa kat kaunter nak naik ke skydeck tu, just bagitau korang menginap kat hotel double tree, n tunjuk kad bilik korang, nanti diorang terus bagi naik. Kat skydeck atas tu ada restoran gak, tapi kitorang tak makan pon situ sebab baru lepas makan, terus naik ke atas tu.
Epic and awesome were just two of the many favourable words that my kids used to describe our recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Melaka. If you are looking for a Melaka hotel with a pool, this is a great choice!
We didn’t dislike any of the dishes, but we weren’t excited by any of them either. It’s good home-style cooking, but it’s not going to blow your socks off. Service was efficient and the food came fast.
Verdict: With so many good reviews I’ve read online (some even said this is the best choice when comes to Nyonya dining in Melaka), my dining experience certainly wouldn’t make it the best Nyonya restaurant in Melaka. Perhaps I’ve order the wrong dishes. Food was just decent but did not mind-blowing and I’ve had a better Nyonya meal elsewhere. (Read THIS)
This little Nyonya restaurant is located at Melakaraya area. We went pretty late, about 2pm-ish and yet the queue is still long! Nevertheless, the wait was not that long. We observed that the dishes come within 10 minutes after sitting down, so most of the dishes may have already been prepared way earlier.

Rosa is a designer lifestyle hotel. I found it by chance while googling for hotels in Malacca. Loyalty and familiarity had us checking into The Majestic Malacca whenever we returned. This time though, with the kids a lot older [and taking up more space], we decided to explore the possibility of other hotels in Malacca with bigger rooms.
In the end my stay in Rosa Malacca was really enjoyable and relaxing. Everything was very classy and very pleasing to the eye. I think what sets it apart from other places you can stay in in Melaka is the friendliness of the staff and the anti-cookie cutter concept that they have with their unique interior design. Although we only really spoke at length with May, the other staff that we came across were all very hospitable and friendly.
However I find that the quality of this shop, the taste had changed. I felt that year 2018 and before, it taste much better. The fragrant of peanut, spices and others are more prominent.
To our surprise, the Capitol satay sauce tastes gratifying and has a way thicker nutty blend compare to other satay celup which we tried before, not hard to understand why there are so many diners dying for their satay celup. Well too bad in our case, as it keeps gives us a chill in the spine on each bite worrying that we might get severe diarrhea on the next morning! 😉
As we ate, restaurant staff came over occasionally, to add more sauce or to stir the pot so that stuff didn’t stick to the bottom. The peanut sauce was fragrant, with a sweet and nutty flavour. I especially liked the bacon-wrapped enoki mushroom.

We stayed in the Estadia Deluxe Suite which is tastefully appointed with modern amenities as well as Peranakan touches through its furnishings and furniture. At 62 sqm, the spacious suite comes with two bedrooms and a living area, which can comfortably accommodate our family of four. Each bedroom comes with an ensuite bathroom with shower and there are a total of 3 LED television in the suite (ie one in each room). Squids Fried with Stink Beans & Sambal - known as petai, the stink beans are an acquired taste which intensifies as you chew them further! Personally, i quite enjoyed the petai although the bigger highlight was the nicely cooked squid that's fried with the aromatic sambal chilli!

Overall, the food at McQuek’s Sate Celup Bandar Hilir Melaka is fresh and good. The service is good, the people here works really fast. As the place is spacious, it is not that warm and it feels cooling too due to the fans. Price wise reflects to the current economy and inflation, nothing to complaint.
Dip the ingredient into the Satay Sauce to cook it. Once it is cook, you can enjoy the food !! The Satay Sauce taste good while for the ingredient, they are just normal, but it is really nice to mix the ingredient together with Satay Sauce. For me, this is a satisfying meal

I happened to chance upon this place while driving around looking for somewhere to eat. The place was crowded and the seating extended to the streets but the customers’ didn’t seem to mind, so I thought to myself, “the food here must either be good or cheap”.
