Atria is a new and stylish shopping gallery
Overall, the food is good at Pantai Seafood Restaurant Kampung Sg Kayu Ara. Surprisingly, the food prices here are still within our budget. They have premium live seafood and they have affordable ones so do order based on your budget. To be honest, we don’t mind coming back again.
First dish – the Nyonya Fish. This was my favorite dish of the night. The fish itself was Tilapia, which was a perfect choice if you want something cheaper yet meaty and delicious. The Nyonya gravy to me was the star of the dish. It was flavorful, a little spicy and a little sweet and having it with the rice was da bomb.
Pantai Seafood Restaurant is full service casual dining restaurant with guests profile comprising mainly of families, group gatherings and office workers, many of who are regulars.
The slightly expensive rm$9 "干咖喱排骨麵 Stewed Dry Curry Pork Ribs Noodle" was acceptable but wasn't my liking today
Chan Meng Kee does offer good safe Covid-19 dining procedures with workers all on Masks and tables with Social Distancing partition screens
Will definitely be back here maybe for their Roasted Duck or Steamed chicken in the future!
The Pork Shoulder Chop on its own was actually good because it was tender and moist. But the brown sauce was way too salty. So I scrapped most of it off and ate only the meat. There was also a bit of porky smell which was unfortunate.
One of my most satisfying meal in a while, and reservation is recommended. I like the Spanish ribs, it is the salty version and not those sweet bbq sauce. The sausages is superb as well.
Iberico Pork Sausage (RM12.90), Farmer's Bratwurst- English Parsley Sausage (RM10.50) and Garlic Sausage (RM10.50) Comment: 3 of these sausages taste really good on its own, very tasty, juicy, thick and firm, definitely premium quality!

Rice with Roast Pork, BBQ Pork and Roast Chicken at MYR 17 nett. The Roast Chicken breast meat is tender so I like it. They put the Roast Pork on top of a piece of plastic sheet to keep the skin crispy by not soaking up the gravy from the rice. The gravy has a bit of Lap Cheong (wax sausage) taste. Both of us shared this packet of rice for lunch.
Murni has changed a lot since back in the days, now they no longer sell roti. Food takes a while to be served. Lamb chop mee udon is okay. Somehow food on every other tables look better.
Dah lama tak lepak Murni ni. Sekali datang, masih macam dulu. Orang tak putus putus.
To make things easy for the night, we just go for all time Malaysian Favorite - Nasi Lemak Murni Discovery (RM 13.90). The nasi lemak platter is worth the price paid as it comes generously with a piece of chicken wings, sambal condiments with prawns, hard boiled egg, salted peanuts, slices of cucumbers on a piece of banana leaf. All the essential flavors are there. If we were to nitpick, it would be the sambal condiments lacking the driving factors to complement the rice.
Rum and raisins cheese cake of Rekindle is the reason we keep going back for more 🙂 Ever since discovering and trying out their alcoholic cake in Rekindle, we regularly went back for their cake (especially the alcoholic one) and for the ambience, but too bad we are unable to dine in for the moment.
Rekindle SS2 comes in mind for most residents of PJ who lives near SS2 or the surroundings, probably because of its cosy ambience and most importantly, myriad of cakes there with unique flavours like even alcohol inside which are reasonably-priced.
This is a nice little cafe with cozy seating areas inside and interestingly coverted "sewing machines" as coffee tables in the outdoor seating area.
Today's Monday morning breakfast is the rm$7 " 干撈豬肉粉 Dry Pork noodle", ok and just the sauce a little bit salty to my liking.
The chicken was definitely comes with 滑鸡 smooth meat, also along the plate was 2 large piece of mushroom; nevertheless, the sauce was a little too salty to bear.
If you happen to be near SS2 Petaling Jaya, I would recommend dropping by for breakfast.
Sizzling Iberico Belly (MYR 28-150g) Naughty Nuri’s very own homemade chef specialty pork belly served on a 310°C hot plate with caramelized onion, capsicum and drizzled with Asian special homemade sauce. Foodies who always enjoy the melting-in-the-mouth of that porky gelatin layer should not give this a miss.
Hi! I am PAPA Iberico (RM 49) We started our meal with their Hi! I am PAPA Iberico. The delicious iberico ribs comes simply fresh with the fall of the bone texture. The meat is perfectly grilled and it brings you with the aromatic taste of it. I love the meat itself which is moist and juicy too.
Naughty Nuri's is well know for its mouthwatering pork ribs.
[Non-halal] Our favourite Pan Mee Soup can be found at Restoran Hock Thai, SS2. Throughout the years, the noodles had been consistently good.
The hand-pulled noodles are always smooth and thin, with a nice bite to it that is not too doughy or chewy. We also find the clear soup to be perfectly balanced with enough umami from the dried anchovies, and sweetness from the sayur manis.
one of the best places for Charsiew on Hakka noodles!
This is my top pick of the day; highly recommended with a great value of a Rice Bowl of Mentaiko Tamago Don. The portion was generous with the thick piece of the Tamago served on a bed of Japanese rice flavoured with seaweed toppings.
That’s not to distract from the food on offer – mainly izakaya staples such as yakitori, kushikatsu, sashimi, tempura and of course, alcohol. Well, we tried to sample their food categories as much as (physically) possible for two person.
Salmon Fried Rice (RM16) The Salmon Fried Rice was an expensive fare but the portion was as small as a normal white rice bowl. It was full of aroma from the garlic and so tasty!
House Rice Bowl, 17.90 ringgit I must say, this is one eatery that provides you with plenty of gravy when you order a rice bowl. For some reason, lots of eateries like serving them rice bowls dry, with as little gravy as possible. Why, why, why? This rice bowl came with boneless chicken thigh, poached egg, pickled cucumber and vegetables with plenty of sweet, ketchup-py gravy. It was yummy – simple yet delicious.
Their Housemade Sourdough Toast (RM 3) is one of the must try here. It had the expected mild sour taste but the texture was not too hard for mastication. When it paired with their housemade coconut spread, the chemistry worked perfectly and this simple local staple became an enjoyment. We also opted to have sea salt butter that added some briny taste. Though the entire add up become a staggering RM 7 for a piece of toast but it was meant for once a while experience.
Braised Pork Belly (RM30) The pork glaze was really robust yet elegant that didn't overcome the pork belly but meld together with the pork belly like how a harmonious orchestra with a single conductor directing it! The poached egg brought out the creamy texture to the potatoes that was baked with the pork belly fat and it was really moist yet hearty alongside with the egg that brought a creamy mouthfeel.. It was an amazing plate of protein that really reflects the ingenuity of the chef to meld both Malaysian and western influences to create such an amazing dish that brought delight to our hearts in every bite of that decandent pork belly dish!
If you're a person who likes soya beans, you can pay Soylab 帅不离 a visit.
Tasty but premium soy based dessert, could get crowded after weekend dinner.
We were further blown away by the Signature Soyffle; though it required a 30-minute wait, we thought the wait was worth while. The Souffle Pancake was extremely light and fluffy; good on its own but even better (or richer) to enjoy with Soya Soft Serve (and a little bit of Honey).
蝦腸 Prawn rice noodle was still not bad after 3 years, but the 菜餃 Vegetable Dumpling and 魚賣 Yu Mai was average at best.
Verdict: These old school Dim Sum was above average and very affordably priced. I’m definitely don’t mind to make a return and I’ll make sure to get a seat on upstairs, hehe ^__^
I love their fried dim sum especially the fried prawns. The prawns inside are fresh and tasty. It's really a different one compared to other places.
I always love the chance to get some pork and German ale. The food at Spitalfield’s is decent enough to justify the prices, which are what you’d expect from an upscale pub. Many of the food and drinks sounded interesting, and I was keen to try them. The service was very functional, but that’s not a big deal for me. Spitalfield’s will probably become our go-to dinner place if we’re ever at Atria Shopping Gallery again.
For dinner, I had the 西班牙猪肉香肠 Spanish Pork Chorizo & 德国猪肉多味腊肠 German Pork Bratwurst, garnished on the side with sauerkraut, sweet mustard and patato salad. The Spanish Pork was an excellent choice.
The environment is really authentic and laid back, which I love.
Eventually, we opted to try one of the dessert on display, specifically Lucky Koi. The combination of ingredients in this specific dessert (oolong rice ice cream + peach sorbet + goji berry muesli crunch + lychee glaze) was appealing and yummy. There was a burst of flavors and textures – the tanginess from the berries, the crunch from the muesli and the unique sweetness from the creamy ice cream. We enjoyed it.
Overall, it's a really cool dessert place.
Top-notch, one of the best ice cream I had in 2019. "Delicieux" in French!
Ambiance: 5.5/10 Price: 6/10 Food: 6.5/10 (non-halal) Verdict: The pork knuckle and Guinness pork ribs are worth ordering.
One fine day, my co-worker suggested that we join some of her friends from another company for lunch so the 9 of us had the following 6 dishes with rice: stir fry sweet potatoes leaves; Thai Style Tofu; Marmite Pork; Ginger Chicken; deep fried squid and "Sang Cheong". Total Bill is around MYR 188.
Verdict: For a place that is so crowded and well known, the food is quite good, and service fast too, because the rest had arrived at 6, dinner was served at 6.30 and I arrived at 7.... ( I had Saturday line dance class from 3 to 5) after dinner, I went to Jacey's house to fetch J who had finished her camp at Temerloh.

Given its price tag, it’s probably one of the best Korean buffet deals in town. Even the soju and other similar brew are very reasonably priced.
For the portion of dim sum and the quality of it, we did not think Jin Xuan is overpriced this round. It costed us less than RM 50 for all the dim sum.
This is our definitely favourite go-to spot to fix our dim sum crave in PJ! One of the best affordable dim sum in Petaling Jaya, it never fails to satisfy ou...
Dim sum dishes are at a price range of RM5 to RM7, with specialty dishes like the ribs racking up a more meaty price tag of RM13.
What do We Like about Antipodean @ Atria? -Tasty and satisfying foods for breakfast -All the breakfast main comes with free coffee. Not sure when will this promotion ends -No traffic/ parking problem in Atria
Good western food and breakfast.
The Omelette with Cheese and Mushrooms was again a mind blowing dish. They had been very generous with the milk and cheese so much so, with each cut, you get cheese oozing out of the eggs. 10/10 would be my rating for this dish
