Tapi kat tingkat paling atas, ada skydeck yang kita boleh naik dan tengok view bandar Melaka. Untuk penginap hotel Double Tree dan Hatten Place, nak naik ke sky deck tu free je ya, masa kat kaunter nak naik ke skydeck tu, just bagitau korang menginap kat hotel double tree, n tunjuk kad bilik korang, nanti diorang terus bagi naik. Kat skydeck atas tu ada restoran gak, tapi kitorang tak makan pon situ sebab baru lepas makan, terus naik ke atas tu.
Epic and awesome were just two of the many favourable words that my kids used to describe our recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Melaka. If you are looking for a Melaka hotel with a pool, this is a great choice!
Its a nice place and once again Thank You the owner for being so nice allowing us to chip in after his operating hours. I really favor nyonya food therefore my choice of selection is quite particular so may not be the best Nyonya food that I have tried but definitely is one of the famous in Malacca that you can tried some local taste with reasonable price. Finally here comes our long-awaited main dish, The Sambal Udang Petai RM19.00 featuring stir-fry prawn and bitter bean in hot sauce. The overall dish tastes rather spicy, has an irresistible sweet and sour flavor, a perfect dish that will make you enjoy another bowl of rice in no time! 😉

Rosa is a designer lifestyle hotel. I found it by chance while googling for hotels in Malacca. Loyalty and familiarity had us checking into The Majestic Malacca whenever we returned. This time though, with the kids a lot older [and taking up more space], we decided to explore the possibility of other hotels in Malacca with bigger rooms.
In the end my stay in Rosa Malacca was really enjoyable and relaxing. Everything was very classy and very pleasing to the eye. I think what sets it apart from other places you can stay in in Melaka is the friendliness of the staff and the anti-cookie cutter concept that they have with their unique interior design. Although we only really spoke at length with May, the other staff that we came across were all very hospitable and friendly.

Overall, the food at McQuek’s Sate Celup Bandar Hilir Melaka is fresh and good. The service is good, the people here works really fast. As the place is spacious, it is not that warm and it feels cooling too due to the fans. Price wise reflects to the current economy and inflation, nothing to complaint.
Dip the ingredient into the Satay Sauce to cook it. Once it is cook, you can enjoy the food !! The Satay Sauce taste good while for the ingredient, they are just normal, but it is really nice to mix the ingredient together with Satay Sauce. For me, this is a satisfying meal

I happened to chance upon this place while driving around looking for somewhere to eat. The place was crowded and the seating extended to the streets but the customers’ didn’t seem to mind, so I thought to myself, “the food here must either be good or cheap”. For RM78 for 4 persons – with freshly squeezed orange and lime as drinks, I gather it’s a pretty much satisfying meal. I guess this beats dining at the much more crowded and over commercialized restaurants facing the sea. So, the rule of the thumb – restaurants packed to the brim indicated good food do not apply here!

Overall, I would say that this is a good place to visit if you are looking for a good Yong Tau Foo meal and great fish balls. Besides those, they also have an array of other great dishes that comes at a very cheap price. Having kept opened 24 hours a day, this place is also great to visit when you need a simple, cheap but delicious supper. Definitely a recommended place!

It is not uncommon that the expectations are instantly elevated by at least a 30 percent whenever a place is glamorous and impressive looking from the outside. We would usually expect a pleasant experience in whole but unfortunately, that is not always the case. Well at least not for this new establishment in Melaka.
Portuguese style baked fish RM55.00 First of all, the portion was quite generous and can be shared across 3-4 persons, tastes super scrumptious as the sauce is well blended with numerous spices yet astonishingly it is not spicy at all although it provides a mild hot sensation during the chew-chew session. Unlike many so-called Portuguese styles out there, De Lisbon’s version still able to remains moist of the fish in the wrapping which made the meal even more fascinating! 😉

Our favorite Nyonya appetizer - pai tee (RM5 for 5 pieces) served in a cute metal tray. Prepared to order, so the shells were wonderfully crisp and warm, filled with a moist and flavorful filling of thinly sliced vegetables and omelette, with a spicy chilli served on the side. Really tasty!
RM9.90 for each of below rice set, again !! What to complain? Just eat la !!! Look at the sambal chili.. Dont play play, it quite spicy... Delicious !! Taste of homemade !!
All in all, after 3 visits (2 with food, once for drinks) I must say I’m pleased with the overall ambience, service and food here. I’m definitely actively recommending friends and readers to Unicorn Cafe.

Please do not go to Portuguese Settlement for "Portuguese" food. It's just a mixture of Nyonya, Chinese, well basically Malaysian taste with exorbitant prices. Also, the harassing crowd is pretty annoying and can be very scary. I would still like to try Melaka's Portuguese food, but definitely not here. Will do more research the next time I hit Melaka!

On weekdays, the buffet dinner is priced at RM88 nett per adult. What we like best about the buffet is the live interactive kitchens, whereby we can choose the raw ingredients and the chefs will cook them a la minute, ensuring best tasting, freshly cooked dishes.

We selected 5 pieces of chicken drumstick (RM26.90) and 2 pieces of chicken wings (RM11.90). For those who prefer boneless chicken, there is chicken popcorn as well as chicken skin. The drumsticks were pretty huge and meaty, with lovely crisp skin. I enjoyed my wings, which were separated into drumettes and wingettes.
