Overall, we enjoyed our meal here at Bumbu Bali, as we managed to satiate our craving for Balinese food. This space is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for a nice and comfortable spot for dinner in Puchong.
For snacks, we shared the fried chicken strips (RM17), served with garlic pepper sauce. This was mostly chicken skin but oh-so-addictive. The sauce was strong and garlicky.
I do not know much about Balinese food and so, all I will say is that the food here is good. I went online, was curious to see the restaurant reviews as well as how well rated it was and yea, the reviews and ratings speaks for itself. Food was goooood, delicious. The dish came with Rice + Spiced Squids + Grilled Fish + Grilled Prawns + a Satay Lilit ( chicken or beef) + Chicken Rendang + Sambal (sambal Matah and sambal Terasi) + Anchovies Crackers + Salad. It was worth every penny, that is all I have to say. Did I mention how satisfied I was – very.
The food at Restoran Foo Hing Dim Sum Puchong is good especially their Portuguese Egg Tarts, out of the world. The prices of dim sum is pretty the same with others which is expensive. Dim sum is rich man’s food nowadays if you agree with me on this statement. I don’t go to dim sum restaurants often anymore, just once in a blue moon and that is the reason why you need to go to a good one like Restoran Foo Hing Dim Sum Puchong.
This is a nice and satisfying dim sum meal in Klang Valley. I can't pin point what particular dishes are better, since all of them are served pretty fast. The quality is there. There is always a..
Foo Hing Dim Sum restaurant is one of the recommendation to hunt for dim sum by my friend and one of the best and most famous dim sum place in this part of Puchong town.
Buranchi chazuke (RM 18) seems to be upgraded with more ingredients, and tastes better than before. Omu & friends (RM 23) is a nice and hearty breakfast set. Tried honey coffee (RM 10) for the first..
Sunny side sandwich for RM 9 is good value for money. The big breakfast combo does offer many variety for those who want to try a bit of everything.
Trying a more premium breakfast and pork bun, still nice and satisfying.
Curry Mee Pok is think and spicy, pretty good. There is a new Briyani Rendang Chicken, pretty good too.
Ipoh Hor Fun okay, but the prawn no taste.
All in all, we had a good experience at Oriental Kopi – but I wouldn’t call it something worth queueing up for, or something you could have often. Granted, you do get to dine in air conditioned comfort, but prices are steep for what is essentially ordinary kopitiam fare. Expect to pay around RM15 for most of the mains. The beverages are also twice the price of a kopitiam (our iced coffee cost around RM7.50).
Chicken is not as good as it should be. Curry pork is still nice. Vege is okay. Service is fast.
Restoran Kong Sai [ Chicken Rice Bandar Puteri Puchong ] Delicious Chinese cuisine. Chicken is good and stir fry vegetable is good.Reasonable price. Good for...
I would also recommend the stuffed tofu (minimum order five pieces), which consist of minced meat and vegetables stuffed into beancurd and served in a soup. The tofu balls are sizable and the meat is seasoned just right, with a delicate bite to it.
Try a new Thai Kway Chap, fairly interesting and nice. Ipoh Chee Cheong Fun is okay.
A new Hakka noodles stall, not bad: nice noodle with decent char siew. Fried Kway Teow nice too.
Shredded Chicken Hor Fun here is pretty good, my wife loves them. HK chee cheong fun is also not bad, but the soy sauce is slightly salty. The pork bun is just average, the meat too thin and the bun..
One of my favorite Wantan Mee (Charsiew Wanton RM 9) place is Puchong for probably more than 10 years, maybe I have gotten used to the taste and texture. Service is quick, and it is not as crowded..
I guess it is still good, or maybe I have gotten used to the taste.
Service is a bit slow as the shop is only 75% occupied. Taste wise it feels like deteriorate slightly, like from good to normal.
The lady finger biscuit is soaked in coffee and rum (alcohol) and the amount of rum is on point, definitely recommend you to try this out.
My Morocccan Rose Latte. Beautifully presented. Not too sweet, light, milky and fragrant.
This place has gotten very busy, and the food is good as usual.
Delicious and satisfying food.
Tasty and value lunch set.
My mom favorite porridge place: simple, tasty and affordable.
My mom's favourite porridge place: value for money.
Delicious dishes.
So yeah. While Fu Gua Thong’s bittergourd dishes are sure to satisfy fans, they have many other dishes that are decent as well. Service wise, waiters appear harried and are not exactly welcoming, with curt/bordering on rude responses, but if you have zero expectations for service, this is a good place for the food.
Bitter Gourd Chicken Stew (苦瓜闷鸡) RM15.00 considers as a classic dish and is a must order in this restaurant. Overall tastes great with a thick ginger fermented black bean gravy which is great to pair with a scoop of rice.
Menu is wide, can be a little intimidating for those who has trouble deciding; but the ones suggested as signature usually won’t go wrong. Here another one of their signature dish- Stir fried pork with salted fish.
Still the best cake in town, perhaps.
A hidden cafe within the plants (in Plant & Pot), serve good quality cakes and coffee. Closed at night.Google Maps: https://g.page/sippingcorner?share00:00 S...
First time dine in after Covid. Nice vibe, cozy environment (like a secret garden), good coffee and superb cakes.
Braised pork rice (RM 6.90) is affordable and decent. Braised Pork Belly Rice (RM 15.90) is slightly sweet and not soft enough (used to be better).
There are many other dishes we have yet to try out on the menu, but I can see myself coming back here whenever I need an intestine fix lol.
Affordable Taiwan food. Quite like the pork belly (Kong Rou) here.
I think the food is average, and service has improved with the boss around.
Service and taste have improved since our visit few years ago. Taste wise is okay, but just not to our liking somehow.
I suppose I should try their much talked about Signtature pork ball noodle next time to get a real taste of their 镇山之宝!
Love the Sabah pork noodle and coffee here.
One of our usual place with Sabah style pork noodle and coffee. Tried the toast for first time, it is okay.
Our favourite pork noodle (Sabah version) in Puchong.
Decent and affordable food, can afford a small fish for RM 20. The fried salty chicken is pretty good.

Price aside, the fish was excellent. The fish is steamed with lots of garlic and bird eye chilies and the aroma is amazing . I usually go for the medium spicy as that is good enough for me. Maybe next time, I should try their super spicy instead. I have walked past their kitchen and observed that they stack the plates up in rattan baskets and steam them using the conventional methods. Perhaps that is where the taste comes from. For me, this dish is excellent and I would rate it at a perfect 10/10
Iced Cappuccino (RM 13) is okay, I think shouldn't ordered the ice version if you prefer stronger coffee taste. Sourdough toast with omelette and ham (RM 13). The sourdough is good. The omelette is..
Relaxing ambience, food is nice. The coffee rum cheese cake has a think bitterly rum taste in a good way. My wife likes the cappuccino. Sourdough with omelette is very tasty.
Nice new cafe. Good coffee, decent food.
Pretty good vegetarian place.
My favourite BKT place in Puchong.
I love both the soup and dry Bak Kut Teh.
We enjoy both the dry and soup version of the Bak Kut Teh. Service is good with reasonable price.
The noodles are soft and silky, but the winner is the soup. Chock full of ingredients, you get generous portions of pork belly slices, pork mushroom balls, offal (intestines, kidney, liver), tender minced pork, squid and shrimp, all swimming in a cloudy broth that is bursting with flavour. To top it all off: a smattering of deep fried pork lard, which really adds extra flavour to the soup.
They definitely aren’t stingy on ingredients. The shrimp was huge! And fresh as well. Although the price is RM14++, I think it’s quite worth it. The dining area is air conditioned and comfortable.
The bill came up to RM 72 not inclusive of drinks. It's not cheap but you do get pretty good service and who doesn't like to eat steamboat in an enclosed air conditioned space without smelling food in the air?
