Siri House Review where we dined elegantly for Valentines Day Lunch. The Food very much matched the Art Deco interior design...
Will I Return Again? Overall, I enjoyed the dishes I had at Siri House. Each course is consistently good, all the way to desserts which are not too sweet for my palate. Head here for a meal to escape from town.

Canchita Peruvian CuisineLocated in Dempsey, I decided to check out Canchita Peruvian Cuisine after seeing pictures of its gorgeous space online. I was admittedly drawn to the space …
Given a chance to be back again, I will very much like to order their main courses.
Open Farm Community New Dishes maybe created and filled with with local flavours, however, I feel that there isn’t any wow factor. Some fine tuning to the dishes may be required. Generally, I notice the vegetarian dishes were extremely well executed, so were the pasta.
A little pricey for the portions but it was delicious.
It is simple yet complicated and thoughtful, put together with sweet, sour, salty, bitter and full of umami flavours in mind. Completing the experience on the plate, all the dishes are artistically presented.

The Culina folks have a market-cum-dining room on Dempsey Hill, with the high ceilings of those black and white barracks creating a pleasantly large space centered around a wine bar.

Long Beach @ Dempsey is situated in a serene enclave outside of the city area, offering a contemporary oriental dining experience.
38 reviews of Long Beach Seafood "wow, this was awesome. messy, spicy crab but so worth it. we drank wine but this is definitely a place you want to drink lots of cold beer. service was great. didn't seem like a touristy place at all. my only…
Service is extremely speedy and dishes arrived in quick succession (all the better for a higher turnover, I suspect). The food was, as usual, generally consistent and delicious, with nary a wrong step.
The ambience is great, and it is especially difficult to find a spacious and lush dining space in Singapore.
49 reviews of PS.Cafe "I dined with my friends on a Sunday evening for a birthday celebration. The space and ambience was comfortable, and the service was pretty efficient. The Truffle fries are a must! And I usually pair it with the Apple Toffee…
PS. Cafe is a good place to head to; it would be great if only the prices are slightly lower.
The curry is spicy and rich in coconut, but just enough to give you that rich creaminess without overcompensating for the natural sweetness of the crab.
The setting of Candlenut is beautiful, and is definitely an ideal venue to impress your overseas friends or in-laws.
Overall I am really impress with the Chef Malcolm's interpretation of Peranakan cuisine. He has definitely elevated traditional Peranakan food to a new level that is acceptable to the international palate while not losing the its heritage roots.
Mexican Food Takeaway from Margarita’s Dempsey Hill Singapore, review of chicken quesadillas and red snapper burritos with pictures ...
Food-wise, Margarita's isn't the best or the most authentic (it purports to serve Mexican fare, but it's really more Tex-Mex), but it was more than decent, and generally passed muster.
However, I felt the dulce de leche, or sweetened milk sauce, lacks punch, being rather thin in texture and weak in taste. Still, the brownie is great enough on its own. Worth ordering!
Burnt Ends is one of the hottest restaurants at Dempsey, Singapore. Reservations for the main dining hall open a month in advance and are quickly snapped up.
The Place Getting a table at Burnt Ends is no easy feat. I managed to check out the new Burnt Ends space in Dempsey (they have relocated from their previous Teck Lim Road outlet), all thanks to a f…
This was Burnt Ends' take on congee, and it was as delicious as it looked, especially given not just that gloriously orange egg yolk but also the wonderfully savory maitake mushroom. I was also particularly happy with his very tender chicken necks and hearts too.
Restaurant Atout review of French restaurant at Dempsey Hill Singapore with pictures of dinner and menu with prices, oysters, steak, soufflé
Atout makes one of the best souffles around, and the towering Dark Chocolate Souffle ($24) with vanilla chantilly reached dizzying heights of wonder.
After all the foreplay, this was what we really came for - their rack of lamb.
These lamb chops were from the regular menu. Simple and nicely done.
With something called a chalet soup which involved pasta, beans, some vegetables, Gruyère, cream and saucisson vaudois. Delicious cheesy soup which wasn't too rich.
This was shortly before the prohibition of dining in for restaurants as part of the local government's "circuit breaker" .
Lebanese Food at Dempsey Project review Dempsey Hill Singapore 2022 with pictures of menu, food, restaurant ...
It is a place good for the solo diner, families or groups. It is suitable for breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea as well as lunch or dinner.
i had a flat white. quite average.
almost nothing we do not like about Hathaway Dempsey - tucked away in a serene location, it has an interesting modern Asian menu & good food
The food at Hathaway is really delicious and unique as they are items not commonly offered elsewhere.
Overall, I had a good experience at Hathaway from the service to the food.
If you're popping by for dinner, and craving something Asian or more local, Provisions might just be what you're looking for. Oh yes, prices are nett here!
Overall, it was definitely an exciting experience. I like the concept of skewers and claypot rice cocktail bar.
The food is comforting here, and very satisfying in fact. Environment is spot on for a Dempsey-style nights out. Definitely amongst my to-go at Dempsey now, but can we get some discounts on the skewers?
Review of newly opened Wine Company Dempsey Block 8D, Dempsey Hill, with pictures of menu, wine list, restaurant and food - fried rice, proscuitto melon ...
Overall dining experience at The Wine Company was not bad; food was decent but decor was pretty. Wine list was comprehensive and good enough too.
Food at The Wine Company is Modern Singaporean fusion, a blend of Western and Asian ingredients and flavours.
I decided to try the old school looking chicken chop from No 1 Western Food. Frankly, I did check with my friend who lives around the area and her verdict was that it used to be superbly good in the old Margaret Drive Hawker Centre but standard had dropped.
Ingredients were generally good, with the exception of the bitter ginkgo nuts! I was most impressed with the addition of red dates, which wasn't that common in many cheng tng stalls, and the stall operator used pretty good quality ones!

Samy’s Curry Indian Restaurant at Dempsey is an unpretentious place for good affordable food.
It looks like the Banting folks have moved over near Mohamed Sultan (223 River Valley Road). What's more interesting is that from Sundays to Tuesdays, they serve this "dry style Thai noodle," and it's pretty good, especially with those super fresh and piping hot prawns, as well as the chewy noodles underneath, all perfumed with the pleasant scent of kaffir lime.
Tasty and hearty handmade noodles. The noodles were good quality and springy, as were the ingredients such as the meatballs, ikan bilis and comfortably spicy chilli.
Although I only managed to try their signature dishes on this visit, I’ll be back for more!
