Newens welcomes the month of April and pays tribute to the royals with Tea with Anne Boleyn. Served in an elegant three-tier cake stand, befitting for a queen, are classic favourites such as Mini Apple Pie, English Fruit Cake, Eton Mess, English Trifle, Earl Grey Macaron, Shortbread Cookies, Maids of Honour Tarts, Scones served with Clotted Cream and Preserves, Mini Kew Pasty, Mini Chicken Pie and Mini Salmon and Onion Quiche. This afternoon tea is served with free-flow of black aromatic STS Tea. These thematic tea experiences are available throughout each respective month from 2.30pm to 5.30pm daily at RM150 nett per set for two persons.

These thematic tea experiences are available throughout each respective month From 2.30pm to 5.30pm MYR 150 nett per set (for 2 pax) In conjunction with the Lunar New Year in February, Newens introduces Spring in China Tea. Cascading on the plate are flavourful pastries and oriental specialities such as the Shanghainese Sizzling Chicken Dumplings, Osmanthus Flower Jelly with Water Chestnuts, Steamed Layer Cake with Custard Cream and Salted Egg Yolk, Baked Crispy Chicken Puffs, Baked Egg Tarts, Pineapple Tarts and Fruit Cake. This is complemented with free-flow of Pai Mu Tan tea, also known as white peony which is a sweet, mild Chinese tea made from unopened tea buds.

January’s designation is a Traditional English High Tea. Served on delicate china from a classic three-tier curate stand, we begin with the savories. Finger sandwiches of thick-cut smoked salmon, zesty pastrami and classic cucumber grace the lower plate and offer a bit of substance after a day at work.
