Mee Sotong is one of those dishes that can only be found in Penang and in this video we went to the famous Hameed Pata Mee Sotong to try it out for ourselves. This stall has been serving this dish for over 40 years and crowds would start queuing up as soon as it opens.

This stall serve a plate of fresh cockles and sotong kakung (cuttlefish with water spinach). The cockles are served fresh and only to be dunked with chili with peanut sauce provided, and people who has an affection toward would definitely delighted to see such a generous portion of cockles. Meanwhile we were overwhelmed to have such a portion even there were 4 of us. Sotong Kangkung on the other hand is a popular local snack as well but the taste here was mediocre. More peanut should be able to perform the magic.
Grilled Chicken with Special Sambal is one of our favourite dish in the Chef's Hidang Set. The perfect grilling rendered a soft and tender texture to the chicken meat, then topped with special soy glazed chili sauce that gives a tad of sweetness along with the slight hot sensation, tickling the taste buds for a true enjoyment.
Hung Makanan Laut Siput Balitong Stall 飛鴻貝類海鮮。蠔煎 This is quite a famous stall for Shellfish especially Fried Clam La La. It gets ready quite late in the night.
