Actually, the thing that got me more excited was a plate of their stir fried porcini mushrooms. These were wild mushrooms harvested from the hills of Yunnan, and I absolutely loved how they were both meaty and buttery at the same time. That was easily one of the best things that I've eaten all year, and I'm definitely getting that again next time I'm here.
Overall nice and hearty flavours. We especially liked the soup, vermicelli, mushrooms and potato. The soup and vermicelli were rich and layered, yet light. The mushrooms were earthy and fragrant, and the potato buttery yet fluffy. Good stuff.
