  Creamy tong-sui is showcased in the bubur cha cha, green bean sago, and the black glutinous rice, with the former cooked in coconut milk and the latter complemented by a topping of thick coconut milk.

  We were expecting instant noodles (like Maggie, Cintan type of noodles if you know what I'm trying to tell) but it turned out to be the bouncier type (typically used in steamboat/ hot pot). The noodles were less-greasier as well. The noodles were well-seasoned and the Sunny Side Up was perfect

  Almost all of the tong sui here are nicely executed. It is well balanced between the sweet and delicate flavour. If we were to pick a few that we would recommend, it would be their Sago Gula Melaka which exhibits the delicacy of gula melaka in the most perfect way coupled with sago, sweet beancurd with Barley & Gingko and Mango Pamelo Sago with Ice Cream.

For a straight-forward classic Chinese Tong Sui, make your way to Seang Teik Road, Tong Sui Po is a new venture that offers an array of Chinese Tong Sui... from the basic Red Bean Soup to locals' favorite Bubur Cha Cha or even uncommon Hong Kong Mango Pomelo Sago; you can find them all here. The place has a very simple setup, with some tables and chairs displayed outside so do not expect romantic atmosphere or upscale setting... just basic and good enough to satiate your cravings.
