Bordering the fringes of the Kuala Lumpur city centre, Bangsar South is perhaps best known as a modern business hub, home to multi-story office towers, luxury condos and chic retail outlets. The commercial area is nicely landscaped with parks, plenty of greenery and wide, paved roads, and the three main buildings – The Sphere, The Nexus and The Vertical – are all connected via convenient pedestrian bridges.
In conclusion, our lunch at Pounce Shokudo was a great one. If you find yourself in Bangsar South, don’t miss the chance to savor the good taste this hidden gem has to offer.
Hock Kee Kopitiam, open from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm, is the go to place for those seeking hearty breakfasts and satisfying meals throughout the day. We left Hock Kee anticipating our return to explore more.
What do We Like about Sunbather Coffee, Bangsar South? -Creative tasty fusion dishes
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here at Ignis. The dishes here complemented each other thanks to the wonderful recommendation of the waiting staff. The extensive menu should have something to please everyone.
I believe this place specialises in desserts, though they served main meals for lunch. Since we are pretty full, so we opt for just one dessert: Tiramisu. The coco powder on top is quite strong,..
The place is quite big, and quite a full house. The food did take quite a while to be served, so maybe that explains the full house 😁 The Masala tea is quite strong in Masala flavour. It was a..
The Opera Koffie have a thick cinnamon taste, but the ice cream just melted away too fast. Egg Hollandaise Duck: the taste of the sauce is quite strong, and the smoked duck breast is salty, and..
Among his culinary creations we sampled are Crab Tacos (RM42) featuring Soft Shell Crabs with Kyuri, Tobiko and Spicy Avacado. Beautifully presented, the dainty appetisers are designed for casual dining – meaning you can pick them up without creating a mess. We like the co-mingling of soft and crunchy textures and of bold, vivid flavours.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and relaxing place to visit and of course the fresh ingredient that are grown and harvested in their own urban farming lab.
My carbonara spaghetti came in a huge serving, topped with heaps of Parmesan cheese. The pasta was cooked al dente, and it was creamy without being cloying (to me, at least), with generous bits of bacon. Solid dish, no complaints. Those who don’t like rich flavours might want to give it a pass though.
