Weekday lunch set at MYR 14.80 nett with free unlimited refill Luckin Kopi Kaw. I chose Indo Mee Goreng and Ayam Berempah (Deep fried Chicken marinated with spices). This is a satisfying "carby" lunch.
The first time here and I'm satisfied with Luckin Kopi, it has a nice ambiance and decor.
Hainanese Chicken Chop RM16.90, another signature in Luckin Kopi. Tender, juicy thick cut of chicken, breaded and deep fried to crispy, golden brown on the outside. Dressed in a bed of tomato-ish sweet gravy, sided with wedges. Buttermilk Sauce Chicken Chop and Salted Egg Chicken Chop from the same section seem promising too!
Petai Bun (RM 12.90) Love it or Hate it! And of course, is my favourite. The Petai Bun comes with the crunchy petai sambal which brings you with the aromatic and yet rich distinct flavours. Perfect to enjoy them with the 4 pieces of mantao that comes in the basket.
The Nasi Lemak was yummy, all items on the plate tasted good. The rice sure was filled with ‘lemak’ because the texture was moist, dense and sticky – almost similar to a Pulut. Sure, it certainly fills you up faster than the usual rice but this case, it worked well, as a glue that kindda gels the other items on the plate together. The chicken rendang was flavorful and so was the ayam berempah.
While a rendition of a Korean style Fried Chicken known as Cheesy Chicken & Fries (RM 26.90) comes with a bed of melting cheese that will surely invoke the tastebuds of Korean fans.
If you like some spicy and sourish seafood dishes, then the Hot & Sour Soup would be a good choice while the Herbal Chicken Soup is a mild, non-spicy and sweet-tasting soup to warm your tummy.
