After having our late lunch, we decide to explore the rest of the wildlife park… After all, Sunway Lost World Of Tambun has over 100 animal species you can discover and I was only too excited to go meet my animal friends, the ones I have met countless times such as Rain the Giraffe, Ruby the Raccoon (though I can’t seriously cannot differentiate which one is Ruby), Awang the Sulphur Cockatoo..
So for this time.. I am listing 6 new (and also not so new) things I enjoyed doing this visit…. which you seriously need to check out too
Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh
Gua Datok Exploration This trail will take you through the jungle, up 630 steps to the 400-million year old Gua Datok cave. Here, you will be able to see the limestone formation in the three chambers, bats, crystals and will be rewarded with an awesome view once you reach the top. You will also encounter some unique flora (and maybe fauna) during your 2-hour jungle trek
Say hello to the latest addition to the Giraffe and Friends family at Lost World Petting Zoo - the camel duo, Kameel and Kamelia. You can purchase the food from the counter (RM2 per bucket), which they will lower down to you at the Camel Feeding Station. Some kids may be scared to feed the animals directly using their hands, so they've provided long tongs for you to pick up the food (carrots and long beans) and feed to the animals.
The Luminous Forest is located near Lost World Petting Zoo (after Giraffe & Friends) and is opened daily from 8pm to 10pm. Home to the Malayana family, you will encounter Mother Sophea, the 400-year old willow-like tree dubbed The Tree of Life, a 16-feet long centipede that shies away from the eyes of visitors, flowers in all sizes and shapes as well as exotic species of insects and animals lurking in the bioluminescent forest. Definitely worth a visit during your trip at LWOT!
We stayed in the Super Suite which is the highest room category here. With 75 sq m of living and bedroom space, the suite was extremely spacious. There is a master bedroom with a king-sized bed and we also requested for an extra rollaway bed to accommodate our family of four. The furnishings are pretty basic but the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is also complimentary WiFi to stay connected.
这里有很多大大小小的温泉池, 每一个温泉池的温度都不一样, 所以你可以随心所欲地选择你要的温度~
