My benchmark of a Four Seasons city hotel is still Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, and I did not get the same sense of wow factor at the Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur. It is still a decent property, but not as polished from the dining to service to the facilities as what I experienced in Bangkok. Of course, if you want to experience a Four Seasons property, this is still one to consider given that the price is probably one of the most accessible in Asia.
Curate is a good choice if you want to bring family or friends for a buffet dinner.
After all these years, only now do I have the chance to try Yun House in Four Seasons. Totally smitten by the interior – elegant and sophisticated, yet not at all cold or distant, you feel welcomed and invited to join in the warmth and cozy ambience.
One of the must try menu at Curate. The Mussels Asiano is heavenly where the generous portion of mussels is beautifully steamed with Coconut, lemongrass, Chilis and the aromatic thai basil. The dish is superb with the appetizing broth and completed with the hint of spiciness in it.

So a nice place despite the view, very good staff, and food which was interesting, playful and generally high quality…why not full marks? The answer is the price, which was high at RM148 per set, or 2.5 times that of even the Majestic. Even if we had shared one (feasible, as we were both quite full afterwards), rather than had one each, it would still have been a hefty bill for what we got. However, as an extremely occasional treat, it was enjoyable.
We personally love the Peking Duck with crispy skin!
The Sunday Bubbly Brunch is served at Curate every Sunday, from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm. It is priced at RM 210 per adult for brunch only, RM 348 per adult with free flow cocktails and wine (with one glass of welcome champagne), and RM 488 per adult with free flow champagne. Kids age 5 and older eat and drink for RM 105. All prices are nett inclusive of prevailing taxes.
Chef Fazley’s signature menu (Sajian Nusantara) will be available every evening during this time. It is priced at MYR 178 nett per person for May 6-12, 2019 and MYR 208 nett per person for May 13 - June 4, 2019.
This place exudes a classy, high end vibe due to its posh interior and furnishing along with the picturesque view of Kuala Lumpur.
