Love this place: great service with good dessert and mains and coffee. Cappuccino is good, Tiramisu is good and Shakshuka is tasty.
Cold Brew Orange (RM 13) is nice, but probably too much orange (sourish). The star is the Cheese Terrine Cake (RM 13), soft and milky, and feels very much like Japanese cheesecake.
The French Toast caught our attention as we skimmed through the menu. It was too inviting not to order! The homemade fat white bread is soooooo good! Prolonging on the so just cause. With heaps of fresh fruits and side of fresh cream. Vibrant, just like how we want our day to be!
Overall, we enjoyed the food and the chill ambiance – with plenty of flora to soothe the soul (and food to fill the tummy).
Tamagoyaki Sando, 18 ringgit The bread came with a nice dose of wasabi and some curried mayo? The thick patty in the middle is apparently Japanese omelette. I wouldn’t have known if I did not google the word ‘Tomagoyaki.’ It had a thin crispy outer layer and on the inside, sponge-y and soft. It felt like a nugget, if that makes sense. The texture was good, the flavors were rather unusual yet tasty. Overall, this was an awesome sandwich.
Take this Tamagoyaki Sando RM18 as instance, you get a freshly prepared, thick tamagoyaki laced with hints of sweetness, jacketed with lightly crisp golden crumbs, sandwiched within two Sunday Fat White. Juicy and toasty, plus mildly spicy and tangy hint of wasabi comes through in between bites to further flavour up this Japanese-inspired sandwich.
