My beef burger + extra cheese = RM5.30. THIS. This is what good burgers should be about. Simple, no frills but oh-so-tasty. The patty was flavourful, well seasoned and juicy, and I could really taste the difference and freshness in quality as compared to frozen patties. Instead of mayo which may overpower the taste of meat, the burger has just chilli sauce, onions and cucumbers.

The Chicken Burger with Egg and Cheese (RM6.30) we had was simple yet extremely appetizing and delicious. The buns were perfectly toasted with good buttery flavours while the patties were appetizing, flavourful and delicious. The combination of cheese and egg added so much depth of flavours. Needless to say, Jackson’s Burger was simple, delicious and appetizing. It is perfect for those who like their burgers clean and tasty. Besides the usual chicken and beef burgers, there are also a number of unconventional burger patties such as fish and crab.

Smack in betteen the bread and all the ingredients, here comes the Chinese version of burger that is pretty similiar to another famous stall in Penang, Hill Side. The patty are grill to little cruncy for my Crab patty and beef are just perfect. For afternoon lunch, its a good satisfying one. For Chinese to come out such burger, they are consider good. Surely cannot be compare with Ramlee burger as its slightly different style Recommended~

And here’s my double special crab burger @ RM5.40 – it tastes like a fish burger mostly and had a distinctive crab flavor. It does not look sloppy at all but judging a burger by its sloppiness is akin to judging movies by their special effects? Trust me I have had many sloppy burgers before and most of them are just plain bad. With all things considered, Ramly’s beef burger is still my preferred street burger but this also largely depends on the person who prepares it. It’s not like any average Ramly stall could beat this, you will need a really good one.

My favourites are their Beef Burger (RM2.70) and Hot Dog (RM1.90) especially with lotsa mustard! They also have Fish Burger (RM2.80) which is really good. Its not minced/ground fish but actual chunks. Much better than what you get at Burger King, McD or KFC. Their burgers are all served between 2 toasted buns with freshly cut onions & cucumber and topped with your choice of chili, tomato or mustard sauce. Simple I know yet so freaking good! Do note that their patties are not from Ramly. Not really sure sourced from where though.
