Cassia remains one of the more underrated Chinese restaurants in Singapore, and the location off mainland Singapore is probably one of the main reasons. That said, the restaurant is housed in one of the most beautiful hotels in Singapore, and for that, along with the generally good quality of food, it is worth a return visit.
Overall, the darling (and the kid) and I enjoyed ourselves a lot at Capella Singapore!
It is not difficult to understand why Capella Singapore is one of the (if not the) most highly-priced properties in Singapore
at The Knolls, the quality may well trump the rest.
Chef's Table offers an intimate dining experience that's awesome for big groups and gatherings.
The one part which stands out for me during my stay at Capella is the personalised service. The service standards in the property is one of the best I have come across in Singapore, and it also helps that every guest is entitled to preferential service by a personal assistant. Despite our rants, there are enough reasons to splurge at least once on this luxurious hotel property in Singapore.
Instead of the usual burger and fries combination, we had a Crispy charcoal tuile with a sweet potato hummus.
The elegant Chinese restaurant is tastefully decorated, and exudes a fine charm that makes diners feel like royalty while dining here.
The Fried Rice with Mini Abalone and Preserved Chinese Sausages was excellent, but did not exactly strike us as being unique or memorable, apart from the exquisite ingredients of diced scallops and mini abalone.
Our dessert for the night is the chilled coconut cream with pearls and sago topped with ice-cream. Refreshing and light to cleanse our palate.
