The JB Fried Bee Hoon was nicely crispy, charred, smoky and full of wok hei. It was almost like a pancake, had a nice seafood flavour, and a balanced savouriness and garlickyness. The plate was moist inside and came with tender sotong, two springy and sweet prawns, and tender fishcakes. Nice food with a nice view across Marina Bay Golf Course.
Their lack of service staff was quite obvious as it took a while to get the attention of the waitress and many tables were not cleared during peak hours.
n my wildest imagination, I would never expect a cafe at a golf course can dish out such delicious local dishes.
This is definitely a hidden spot for one to enjoy a good zichar meal with a splendid view of the Singapore skyline, without a hefty price tag.
