The experience was delighting and if there are more stomach spaces, I do not mind having more of such bowls.
Service was friendly and before we left, the stall lady even greet and thank us for coming. Compared back to our home, we hardly had such "treatment" from hawkers that warm our hearts.
First up, we order a plate of Sotong Kangkung RM10.00 served with lots of brown squids, kangkung (water spinach), coarse peanut and drenched with sweet sauce. The brown squid, kangkung and peanut trio blend pretty well with the mild starchy sweet sauce, overall tastes are pretty awesome and definitely the best snack choice in tong sui kai. We literally just finished everything within bites by using chopsticks. 😉
its a great place in the evenings without the heat to enjoy dinner or supper with some cold cool desserts!
This place is popular in the Internet so we came here to see what is so nice about this street.
Based on the tip given by a local, we tried stall 27 and 28. Both stalls seem to be owned by the same family so they don’t have any problem with us ordering from them. The reason I say this is because that there are unspoken seating rules you need to abide to.
