All in, we really enjoyed the food here despite the long waiting period. If you’re looking for a good lunch spot on mainland Penang, we won’t hesitate to recommend this place.
My personal favorite is Dua Sua Ka Japanese Curry Rice, the curry is not spicy and not too salty, the taste is just food with a lot of Chicken and serve with white rice.
The Fish Balls and Pork and Century Egg Congee were nicely done; the former ones were bouncy and generous in portion while the latter one was reasonably seasoned with creamy texture
For Mains- Lemon Parmesan Chicken and Tiger Prawn on Risotto; the former one was served on a bed of creamy Mashed but with a hint of citrusy acidity. It was easy on the palate while the Chicken Breast was nicely cooked with a meaty texture.
The Original Soup Pan Mee was our favorite of the day with al-dente noodles, reasonably seasoned clean-tasting broth and generous amount of greens and toppings. Judging by the look, we thought it would be bland but it was beautifully seasoned
DRINKS to be served here (by queue number)...for ordered food, they will deliver to your table.
Gearing up for the month of Ramadhan Iconic Hotel Penang has come up with a Ramadhan Buffet concept of Singgah Iftar for everyone to enjoy their variety of local made cuisine.
We had 2 types of cakes- Tiramisu and Mango Pomelo Crepe; the former one has a creamy texture with bold Coffee flavor. The sweetness was well-balanced; though would be better if some alcohol element can be introduced to the cake.
While the Ramadhan buffet for the previous years were done at the car park area but for this year the buffet will be at MEZZA9 with a nicely decorated ambiance that truly elevates the dining ambiance.
Here's the location.
