  The noodles were slightly firm and bitey, and tossed in a really nice umami XO sauce full of dried shrimp flavour. The pork was substantial and tender enough, but still having some bite, braised lightly with good pork flavour.

  I tried their dipping noodles and it was awesome! It is one of the best dipping noodles i have tried in Singapore. I think i ever tried dipping noodles at Ramen Champion but that was only average. Japanese calls this Tsukemen.

  Zaffron Kitchen Star Vista is the restaurant we decided to go to take a break from Chinese food. It is a popular restaurant at lunchtime when nearby office workers descend on this small shopping mall next to Buona Vista MRT station as there are many food choices there.

  Pretty small space for a coffee joint. I guess this is more for people to buy back coffee to their work space or grab a quick lunch. They do serve sandwiches here as well.

  The BTK Star Vista Happy Nest outlet has the same concept as the Star Vista mall. It has a small dining area that is air-conditioned. But most of the dining tables are out in the naturally ventilated area.
