I ordered this fish and chip shop which was acceptable but it cost me $25. expensive af. The fish was quite tender inside but other than that the batter was quite thick and this seemed like the portion for 2 people.
The entire place is like a beer garden but there are live band during the night. Enviornment is breezy and airy with good placement of fans blowing. What an ideal place to chillax if you have some extra to spend.

If anything, the ambience at Wheeler’s Estate is probably the only thing drawing us back here. For the price, the food wasn’t exceptionally good and service was mediocre. Now, we can’t wait for The Summerhouse located next door to fully open to draw a comparison.
I find this a comfortable, attractive place that is not overly pretentious to have a good-day’s conversation with family and friends. I came with a friend’s mum.
Wheeler’s Estate reminds us of a pastiche of many good cafes (listed below). Obviously they did their research. Although it lacks innovation, everything works here. Don’t reinvent the wheeler, right? Good food, better ambience.
