Maybe one of the best modern dim sum place in Ipoh. Queue is systematic and fast, service as good. Most of the dim sum are delicate and delicious, good quality.
♥Verdict: We were pleased with the food quality and I especially enjoyed the Scallop Har Gao with fresh, bouncy prawns and the addition of celery imparted a bold flavour to it. Steamed Rice Noodle with Shrimp You Tiao also another favourite of mine here. Crunchy You Tiao and shrimps were wrapped with silky smooth rice roll, served with soy sauce, a dish that scored well in terms of flavour and texture.
We ordered 3 bowls of Bubur Cha Cha (sweet potato, taro, sago in sweet coconut milk). We enjoyed every spoonful of it.
Looking for a good place for dim sum in Ipoh, one of the good location is Chui Yue Lou. The dim sum here are fresh and delicious.
Fried dumplings are crispy on the outside, but filled with moist, juicy, and extremely flavorful meat and veggie fillings on the inside. Dip the fried dumpling in mayonnaise and enjoy it.
My friend recommended this "Kapitan Chicken" and she was right, it was good.
Hubby ordered beef noodle, which I was tempted to order but changed my mind. Hubby enjoyed this beef noodle especially when the salted vegetable gave it an unique taste.
We ordered a half poached chicken for 3 people.
The price was quite reasonable, 8 dim sum items with 2 herbal tea for only RM 59.80 including taxes! Most importantly, there were more varieties with unique flavours unlike Ming Court. And the dim sum, was translucent instead of having thick skin! I also like the fact that they have unique fillings like prawns, abalone, fake fish maw, etc.
Stewed lamb with spaghetti for me.
