Overall, we can understand why Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Menu is still drawing in the crowds after all these years.
Portions are a tad small overall, except for pasta. Delicious fare and worth returning for!
Nassim Hill has the potential to be a great dining spot for larger groups and intimate gatherings given its roomy interiors and medieval tavern like vibes. Food, however is a bit of a hit and miss; so heed my advice and just give the waffles a good whack.
The Pear Cheddar Crumble was very good too. Who doesn't like ice-cream and those salty cheddar crumble was so good to crunch with the sweet ice-cream. The carrot cake surprises me as well, with its airy cake and delectable nuts and dried fruits. Most importantly, it was not overly heavy with spices. Sweet.
Chillli Crab Pasta (half portion $16, full portion $25). Crab meat sauteed with house spicy and tangy chilli crab sauce on spaghetti. Mum was pretty disappointed as there were no lumps of crab meat, rather, they were all blended into the sauce.
