No doubt that Mr & Mrs Mohgan Prata is popular and known for its crispiness, but I find that there are still better Prata around. Nonetheless, the service rendered is friendly and I do not mind making a return trip to Joo Chiat if my friends are keen on it.
I will bring out “early-morning” me and make my way back here for sure!

Payment can be made via cash, FAVE and nets. Uncle also being nice and friendly even though he is alone coping with the operation all by himself. You can feel the positive vibes when you speak with him. We left the place with happy belly and happy mode.
The price is not cheap because the usual zi char eatery place priced at S$5.50onwards but I think it is worth trying it.
It has been awhile since I had Mr and Mrs Moghan’s Prata. In fact the last time was at their old location at Crane Rd. Now at Tin Yeang Coffee Shop on the corner of Joo Chiat Rd and Dunman Rd, it was time I visited again.
After trying Mr and Mrs Mohgan Super Crispy Roti Prata, what stood out most for me was how fresh the prata tasted – you could tell they had just came off the stove.
“Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper,” so the saying goes. Bonus points if your first meal of the day gets the royal treatment without having to pay a king’s ran…
Their delicious rice dishes were a source of respite for me and also many NS boys after a long day out training in the field.
Mr and Mrs Mohgan Prata stall in Joo Chiat serves freshly made crispy roti prata; cheap and good breakfast food which a must try item in Katong.
