Overall, we highly recommend the Assam laksa here, as it was our favourite bowl during this Penang trip. We enjoyed the well-balanced broth and flakiness of the mackerel bits.
Kim Laksa is one of the Laksa stalls that sells 2 types of Asam Laksa and Siam Laksa in Balik Pulau. Selling Laksa for more than 40 years this Kim Laksa is bringing the Penang's Flavour to the world. Besides that, the Vietnamese Food here is also very nice and authentic. The Banh Mi is so yummy and sells at a very affordable price. This goes the same as Vietnamese Chee Cheong Fun which is very appetizing and appealing.
This is lemak laksa, which contains coconut milk.
The original version of the Assam Laksa !! You can see that the soup is more clearer and the minced fish is populated on top on the rice noodle. Accompany with the source (虾膏) on the spoon.
Kim Laksa is famous for their Siam Laksa
