I was given a chance for a staycation in Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur and experience their SOP implementation of which is being oversaw by KKM/police very tightly. A few things that I noted and particular about was being observe by the management, kudos to them. Health and safety of not only the guests but their customers are their utmost priority. It is a comfort to know this. Alhamdulillah…

During our staycation, we stayed in the One-bedroom Deluxe Apartment with twin beds. The well-appointed room comes with a separate bedroom and living room as well as a spacious bathroom with bathtub and a kitchenette. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave and rice cooker and is suitable for guests who intend to do light cooking. There is also complimentary self-service laundry facilities and high speed internet provided for the convenience of guests.

Verdict: Oakwood Hotel and Residence Kuala Lumpur definitely offers simplicity and modern comforts that is definitely good value. Located strategically at Jalan Ampang with a short walk distance to the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers and a mere 10-minute drive to MaTIC, Kuala Lumpur’s one-stop Tourist Information Centre and also approximately 45 minutes drive to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Despite being located in the heart of the city, its unique location allows guest to enjoy the serenity away from the hustle bustle yet can get the convenience of being stay in the city. Visit the nearby malls, eat at the neighbourhood restaurants and explore a new part of the city, and return home feeling well-rested and rejuvenated.

Verdict: Indeed a rock bottom deal for the price paid. It’s definitely a fully loaded portion more than enough for 4 persons. Food was above average I would say and the comfortable environment and cozy ambiance certainly great for all kind of gatherings. Priced at RM180.00+ for four person (without wine) and RM230.00+ with a bottle of wine (red or white), available every Saturday until 20th December 2017. The price is unquestionably reasonable for the food quality and portion, not to mention the comfortable environment, enjoy the barbequed food without breaking a sweat.

I was honored to join the Berbuka Puasa session with Pertubuhan Kebajikan Al-Firdausi last week at trEat Restaurant & Bar, Oakwood Hotel & Residence Kuala Lumpur last week. This is one of the hotel’s CSR project which express their concern as well as support to the underprivileged group in our community. Priced at RM77+ per adult and RM39+ per child, the Dining Under the Stars buffet dinner is available from 29th May until 24th June, from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
