Kong Lean is a hidden gem coffee shop that located at Sungai Pinang, Balik Pulau. This decoration of the coffee shop is retro and very nostalgic serving with the duck egg kaya toast that is unique and also the soft-boiled egg that is rare to get around Penang. Besides the toast and soft-boiled egg, the homemade scone with lemon curd and butter is so appetizing and yummy too. Kedai Makana Heng Lee is also the shop a few doors away from Kong Lean Kedai Kopi that sells great Penang Street Food, the Hokkien Mee, Jawa Mee, and Wantan Mee here are recommended and up to standard as well.
