It was our first experience on the White Vermicelli Noodles... almost like the Singaporean Hokkien Mee- Vermicelli Noodles were cooked in broth and served with meat and seafood. We were expecting the noodles to be overly soft and slouchy but they turned out to be alright... even better with some serving of Sambal
在这里用餐都会看到三大种族,桌面也很大,适合大家庭、大聚会,唯一一点不好的就是太多苍蝇。
Chia Xiang Seafood Restaurant - JUST REALIZE they have Nyonya Curry Noodle now
Steamed Emperor Red Snapper in Nyonya Style is priced at RM 45, which we thought was pretty reasonable. The Red snapper is fish, and Nyonya style cooking gives the fish a moderate sour and spicy taste, akin to a toned down Thai flavour. There are other steaming style offered, such as clear style and Teochew style. Savouring the fish for our dinner was a true gratification.
Meat crabs cooked in sour and spicy sauce @ RM 80.00 I love to eat bread dipped in this sauce. Eating crabs cooked in this way can be very delicious but also very time consuming and messing. Anyway, we have the time to enjoy our meal.
LY Favorite - Crab Rice...yummy …..
The signature here is their Mee Goreng, but we recommend you top up another RM1 to enjoy the sotong. To make their Mee Goreng unique, Chef Hashim uses Chinese wok with a thinner carbon steel to allow more heat infuse to the noodles, resulting a stronger smoky taste. We enjoyed the hint of sweetness in the noodles, contributed by the special sauces prepared by Chef Hashim's wife and mother-in-law that used more sweet potatoes than usual.
The other item we had - Black Pepper Sizzling Chicken (RM 16.80) was surprisingly good. The chicken meat is tender and cooked nicely, then the black pepper sauce really make a nice complement to the chicken, as well as to the fries. It is served sizzling hot so watch out from getting yourself hurt.
炒麵條 Fried Noodles RM10.00 *This is highly recommended*
