As for the steamed dumpling (sui jiao), I prefer Esquire Kitchen's 锅贴 Guotie (the fried version) which goes well with the vineger soay sauce sliced ginger and their home-made chili sauce!
The dumpling may be a little oily but dopped in the vinegar with slices of ginger and if you like some chili sauce, it us wonderful shanghai goodness in your mouth!
