Yoogane, established in 1981, is a restaurant well received in Busan, Korea for its famed Chicken Galbi. What is Chicken Galbi? Chicken Galbi is a tasty and spicy stir-fried dish consisting of marinated chicken, fresh assorted vegetables, and dokboki (Korean rice cakes). Yoogane uses only the freshest ingredients. Their signature dish is marinated using a unique blend of sauces and seasoning and cooked before the eyes of their patrons.
In the end of the day, let me just summarise. I did not finish the meal as I find that the portion is quite small and felt rip off if were to compare to other dak galbi place. As Mr.Dak Galbi already sits in bottom of my list and I felt they ares even better than them in terms of taste and quality.
For their Cheese Chicken Galbi, the taste is authentic but it is not as spicy as we imagined. The chicken is stir fried and covered with the gochujang based sauce and it is tender and flavourful. The mozzarella cheese on the side melts while the pan is hot so eat the cheese while its hot.
Yay! Finally ready. The dakgalbi has a combination of Korean sticky rice cake, potato and plenty of chicken chunks deeply marinated with Yoogane’s unique spicy sauce. Flavourful on its own, roll each piece of the ingredient with melted cheese to get the extra oomph. Sinful but so hard to resist, so keep our diet plan for tomorrow. LOL.
All in all, we had a blast at Yoogane and there was never a dull moment throughout the meal because of the table side cooking. The pricing is reasonable considering the high quality of the ingredients and service provided. We would gladly return again since Yoogane is one of the more unique restaurants in 1 Utama.
