Pattisez Malaysia at Bangsar had been one of the highlight by many others as it is the Australian bakery-cafe’s first franchise branch outside Canberra, Australia. The cafe was previously known for their epic Freakshakes monster-sized milkshakes heaped high with out-of-control toppings. In Malaysia, they were one of the early adopters to drive the trend previously along with few other inspired cafes.

It was a random weekend night that me and some others decided to head to Bangsar, not for beer, but for coffee. As we drove by Jalan Telawi, we saw Pattisez there, and it just became our spot.

Reasons to visit: Of course the FreakShakes™ are a big draw, but the variety, creativity and freshness offered by the full menu makes Pâtissez a great place for a coffee or a meal out. The fact that they are so keen to engage on a level platform with their customer base is a big plus and the menu will be developing over time meaning that there should always be a new dish to try with every visit.

The Freak Burger, RM38, a generous double beef patty, some chicken bacon, Patissez chicken jam and fries on the side. What's not to love... a moist juicy piece of meat between two well endowed buns...
