Good service, but small portion and average taste given the price point.
Although the staff’s attitude could use a tune-up and the prices are obnoxious, I begrudgingly have to admit that the food here is quite tasty. It’s what keeps this place decently busy, even at midday on a Monday with no lunch sets offered. This meal cost us over RM50 and we didn’t even get any drinks, and Mark wasn’t all that hungry and tried to get something small. If you’re a regular person who cares how much money flies out of your bank account, Ra-Ft should be reserved for an occasion and not just a whatever work lunch. And definitely make sure you are hungry, so that you’re not paying RM20 for a salad.
The Botanist RM25 – a vegetarian dish that caught Summergirl’s attention the most, as not many cafes have vegetable-loaded brunch dish like this other than salad. Gluten free bread with mashed peas spread, further layered up with broccoli, zucchini, kale and pea sprouts! Not to forget, a poached egg hidden within.
My Personal Opinion The place still serves up the same good food (with the same hospitality) as their Binjai branch though, personally, this place didn't endear me as much as their Binjai outlet did. I definitely prefer the spaciousness, setting and ambience of their Binjai branch because I like roomy spaces...but that's just me. After having tried the Mont Kiara branch, I think I'll stick with their Binjai outlet since it's also much closer to where I live. But having said that, Mont Kiara folks are fortunate to have a lovely brunch spot for good food, and even better coffees, that they can call their own. ^.^
I opted for the vegetarian dish, The Botanist, a slice of bread loaded with green stuff and poached eggs. Mine had collapsed during the journey from the kitchen, but you get the idea: lots of greens.
Reasons to visit: all-day brekkie; craft beer; yummy desserts; great coffee and an all-round feel-good environment.
我喜欢甜甜圈,但这么大还充有馅料的甜甜圈自己又没办法吃完,应该提议店家制作迷你版的,会比较好卖吧?呵呵~
