Overall, we enjoyed our meal here at Kitchen GoHeung. Service was prompts and friendly. The Gamjatang was really enjoyable when we visited the restaurant on a rainy evening.
This time the random stroll had brought us to this tranquil neighbourhood of Mont Kiara at the Verve Shops row, 23.5 Coffee Roastery!
Verdict: The Fat Fish certainly is one of the better restaurants that I’ve eaten lately. It’s a good option if you’re looking for seafood meal in this area.
In a sea of Korean restaurants in Mont Kiara, Sigol Madang really stood out for its focused offerings of Gukbap and Bossam using quality ingredients. We enjoyed all the three dishes we tried. We recommend making reservations as the restaurant is very popular. They also mainly offer rooms for a private dining experience.
Verdict: A place that well worth checking out for dessert devotees. I enjoyed the food and they were admittedly good. Those desserts definitely doesn’t come cheap which I think I only afford to have it occasionally. Q_Q
I like the Bakehouse French Toast, with both sweet and salty Savoury. Coffee is nice too. The other pasties are okay, and the Sourdough is not soft enough.
Good service, but small portion and average taste given the price point.
If you’re looking for an authentic local Korean chimaek experience, we are happy to recommend this spot. We’ll be back!
You could come here just for the wine, but the friendly service and wonderful food made it an enjoyable night out for us – especially since we were there to celebrate a milestone.
Kiara Cakes has to compete with KoFi by 77 and Copenhagen Coffee that are steps away. Though Kiara Cakes’ food menu is very limited, its selection of sweets and pastries is miles ahead of the other two cafes. All of their cakes looked tempting and weren’t the same old flavours I have seen a hundred times at other cafes. Kiara Cakes is now on my list of options for the next time I’m craving a drink and a snack.
