Our highlight of the night is this Braised Boston Lobster with Pearl Rice and Crispy Rice Toppings. I literally went ‘Wow” after my first mouth.
At Top of UOB Plaza, Si Chuan Dou Hua is running the “Deep Duck Secrets” Dining Promotion where diners get to enjoy free flow Roasted Peking Duck (北京片皮鸭). A big big yes to those amber crispy duck’s skin!
At Top of the UOB, “DEEP DUCK SECRETS” dining promotion is priced at S$58.00++ per person with a minimum for 2 pax. The free flow main course comprises 7 dishes, counting in an appetizer, soup, side dish, a rice or noodle course and a dessert.
If you’re ever planning on indulging on something as rich and luxurious as a Wagyu bowl, we urge you not to waste your calories (and money), head on down to Waa Cow! for one heck of a memorable meal.
This actually looks bigger than it is but enough to tempt me for a return that I have yet to make!
If you’re craving for some quality nosh after work, this cosy eatery might just be the place you’re looking for.
Looked pretty. I thought that it was a little too salty from the first mouthful of soba but the saltiness subsided very soon after that.
Scallops which were still partially rare were nice with their own scallop-y sweetness but you'd have to eat them fast or they'll continue to cook in the hot broth.
Healthy Soba IKI has a Christmas special. Burrata cheese topping on their soba. Nice.
Finished up with their chilli hot chocolate. I've been trapped in the repetition of getting this (and maybe a couple of times of their masala chai latte) because I don't know what else is better or worth drinking here.
Our only food and drinks that day were some pastries and coffee.
I might've just made this my favorite hangout in Raffles Place, save for the fact that the music is too loud for conversations or discussions (yes, I repeat).
The hamburg was really nice, slightly fatty and unctuous, with the rich and creamy flavour that comes with wagyu beef. The patty had slight char on the outside, and was moist with a nice uneven texture inside. The pao fan was a nice foil to the rich hamburg, providing hearty soupy carbs with good beef, onion and mushroom flavours in the gravy.
A cheap A5 wagyu place from Hong Kong has been getting some attention lately, and I finally made my way there today (1 Raffles Place #01-01, 6223-0775). It's been getting so much hype that it was a bit of a buzzkill to see what finally came out: a sad-looking patty sitting by itself in a gigantic box. That salad and rice didn't look very encouraging either.
The cheese and beef toastie sandwiches were better than I thought they would be too.
Not a bad stir fried kailan to be fair.
The food takes quite awhile to arrive, but I have to say, the food is well flavoured and cooked.
48 reviews of 1-Altitude Gallery & Bar "Wonderful views of Singapore. My boss said it was cool to expense our lounge and bar visits even though I came here solely for the view. I got all dressed up and met up w/ my colleagues. There is a cover…
The greatest unique point for me at 1-Altitude is the lofty, vibrant view and a total experience package from dining at Stellar restaurant, to going up to the club lounge at Altimate or rooftop bar at 1-Altitude to cap the night; there’s no need to head anywhere else for an amazing night.

I decided to give Gochi-So Shokudo's katsu a try instead of the grilled kurobuta dons. Not so good.
Their smoky thin sliced Ibérico pork belly was also good. More of the pork belly were hidden under the curry.
Let us introduce you to Gochi-So Shokudo, an under-the-radar eatery located at the corner of the basement of One Raffles Place that brings to you top-quality Iberico Pork all the way from Spain at affordable prices.
We love the Kraftwich Sandwich With Dip; innovating and somewhat nostalgic as we love dipping our baguette in curry.
Chocolate lovers will like the sinful Cookies Delight Affogato featuring Belgian chocolate gelato with a rich chocolate sauce and you can pour in some warm frothed milk to make a perfect dessert.
Kraftwich at Raffles Place serves quick, healthy and nutritious meals - gourmet sandwiches and salads - at very reasonable prices.
Overall, I find that Qin Ji has a better and crispy Rougamo as compared to the one I recently had.
I've never liked the roujiamo at Qin Ji. Despite how awesome the crispy flaky carbs were, it was always ruined by the mucilagenous gravy that came with the meat.
More notably, I'm still rather disappointed in their roujiamo, which continues to have a crispy flaky bun, but also a goopy meat pie-like filling, even if the cumin version that I had today was a little spicier. I'm starting to lose interest in this place.
I finally got around to trying the other two bowls at Chalong, like that sous-vide roast beef above. It tasted like it looked: very tender, moist, and refreshing.
That pork jowl above was impressively tender and moist, making this a delight to eat. The portions were small (especially when one chooses a salad base rather than rice), but that's probably a good thing as long as I have the will power to keep myself from ordering a second bowl.
Try one of their latest additions to the Charcoal Grill Menu, the Sea Bass Bowl ($17).
I never had much interest in going to this small chain. But this gut cleansing isn't over yet, so I figured that it'd be pretty easy to find something here that was suitable.
Eating well is made easier with restaurants like Haakon Superfoods & Juice.
Bolonia Singapore: Discover authentic Spanish cuisine at this all-day tapas bar in Republic Plaza. A taste of Spain in the heart of Singapore...
Delicious and perfect for a grab-and-go, Patron’s Box might just be your new favourite lunch fix!
6oz Espresso Bar is a nice spot in the CBD for good artisanal coffee. It is also a nice place for breakfast, tea break or a simple meal. They also do delivery.
My favourite would be the salmon poke bowl because I enjoyed the texture of the red rice.
While the location, speed of food preparation and food offerings are ideal, slight improvement can be made to bring out more flavours instead of being just “healthy”.
hope to try out ace chef tan’s other dishes at 1-vu outpost hotel when they teopennin jan2021.
Stellar at 1-Altitude 4 Hands Kitchen not only offer one of its kind of culinary experience, in addition, it has the best 360 view of Singapore with truly nice and pleasant ambience.
The 6-course dinner above 'retails' at s$180++, which is perhaps a little on the pricey side? As is quite common with fine dining restaurants, lunch starts from a much more reasonable s$48++, though, so you could perhaps pay them a lunch visit before deciding on whether to commit to dinner.
There are numerous food choices at Raffles Place, but if you want to dine at an air-conditioned restaurant without spending too much, Jjigae Jjigae is a great option!
I do find the concept of Jjigae Jjigae in Singapore’s context, and might work better in more youth-targeted venues.
Overall, I like how the entire crepe is balanced with crunch from the wanton and vegetables, sweetness and savoury from the sauce and meat.
This is not a place that I would've normally considered (24 Raffles Place #02-05, 8862-1338), especially with its low calorie, low carb, and fat trimmed meals. But there was a sign outside for a chili coriander fish that looked pretty good, and hey - the low carb aspect dovetailed nicely with my ongoing gut cleansing.
