Nyonya Cendol have 2 locations, one in USJ21 Main Place and this is in USJ1 Summit USJ. Both offers exactly the same menu. I always like a "very fishy" Asam Laksa, nice! fits my taste.
The Penang Asam Laksa RM10.50 is one of our favourite food that we refuse to miss whenever we got the chance to order for a meal. Nyonya Cendol’s Asam Laksa won our heart mainly due to its huge chunks of sardines fishes scattered evenly around the bowl with fine shredded garnishes/spices, quite sour (too many pineapples) compared to normal version but still “Banyak Sedap”! 😉
What makes the Nyonya cendol here so good is that they insist on using fresh ingredients that are prepared daily. But what really sets this cendol a class apart is their santan, it’s extra thick and creamy with the most wonderful aroma.
Suea Rong Hai Well, whatever the stories are, the meat is truly tender and juicy. This, I will not lie.

Ayam Penyet is a traditional Indonesian cuisine which originates from Surabaya. Ayam Penyet Best serves great quality and fresh food of Indonesian traditions with exquisite food and taste and home-made recipes. Fried chicken that is lightly smashed with the pestle against mortar to make it softer. It is first marinated and then boiled, deep-fried and then smashed. You gotta try it!
ery interesting warmly baked cake that seems to go well well the sweet maple syrup and cold ice cream, a rather "explosive" combination.
Secret Recipe has been a prominent tenant at USJ Summit for a long time. This one here at USJ Summit offers much comfortable and spacious seating compared to the shop lot at USJ Taipan.
Good to see someone passionate about what they do; the Barista explain about the "红菲茶拿铁 Rooibos Red Latte" which is really Tea blend in Coffee, interesting!
Not too bad a Nasi Lemak, except for the not too warm white rice (better if its steamy coconut flavored rice).
The Vietnam Chicken Chop wasn "funky", the sauce was sour as well as spicy; maybe it is a vietnamese recipe. Overall, it wasn't that bad but wished it came with some toast instead of fries.
Today's Hainanese Chicken Chop was a major disaster, terrible done, sauce was out as well. Disappointing lunch outing.
Expensive and not impressed!
It does not stock too many of the Herbal Jelly, on a hot day, this is the right place to be instead of cold drinks.
It is probably one of the restaurant in the "old" mall with a better ambiance and customer service, based on today's visit.
Acceptable average taste of the Sushi Plates but the Bento was disappointing.
The Indonesian "Bebek" means Duck, and the rm$19.90 "巴厘香酥鴨錦飯 Magnificent Bebek Bali" is a "Dry Fried Duck" rice meal.
Overall, a good enough effort by Nam Heong.
Excellent pork belly (3 layer) charsiew that comes with the Wanton Mee offered by Nam Heong today.
Highly recommended to also order "siew yoke" or roasted pork (rm$7/portion) which I think good for 2 person.
Most stalls in all 3 kopitiams already closing by 2:30pm, lucky to find one stall offering the last bowl of pork ball noodle. Food is average but at an affordable price.
The bowl here is savoury but still has the some amount of santan and sweetness but happily it hit a sweet spot in me. I found a happy balance of the Ipoh and KL styles. Enjoy
this place in USJ6, which makes its 手工包 steamed buns by hand, is a gem.
Restoran Wai Kwan offers "古早味"米浆粉 old-style Chee Cheong Fun (with sweet red sauce), rm$4 "蝦米"米浆粉 dried shrimp Chee Cheong Fun, and some steamed fish balls as add-ons.
Popular savory Bao fillings are their 叉烧包 Char Siew Bao, 南乳猪肉包 Nam Yu Chu Yoke Bao, 马来糕 Ma Lai Gao, and 梅菜包Mui Choy Bao.
Today's breakfast is the rm$9.50 排骨配雲吞叉燒雲吞麵 Pork Ribs Char Siew Wanton Mee by the popular 江記雲吞麵 Kong Kee Wanton Mee stall. Charsiew today wasn't their normal standard but the Pork Ribs was still not too bad, coupled with 2 pieces of medium size wanton
all tables are definitely at least 4-5 feet apart!
Will be back to try the other variants another time.
Everything feels home made and they have this unique menu of noodles you cannot get in most places.
Excellent and fresh Fish cake, fish paste and fish maw, comes with thick noodle; broth was particularly "sweet"; very nice!
Very positive experience on the 1st visit.
The Kopitiam at this period offers the Nyonya Nasi Lemak (sampled a few days ago), also Chee Cheong Fun/Yong Tao Foo, Char Kaoy Teow, Curry noodle, Roasted items (roasted chicken, roasted pork) rice, Pan Mee and Pork noodle.
Breakfast choice today is nyonya nasi lemak with choices of pork rendang, chicken rendang or sambal sotong from rm$3 to rm$10.
All the Yong Tao Fu are made fresh, in-fact you make your order by ticking off a check-list of YTF and the chef will make-to-order for you.
Today's Charsiew is thick and juicy with pork belly meat and the rm$12.50 Beef Brisket comes in a fairly large bowl of beef briskets, beef tendon and beef stomach. Super heavy.
As far as Chan Meng Kee is concerned, still it is safer just to order their signature Char Siew Wanton Mee or Wanton Noodle.
The presentation was good but good looks never always mean good taste!
Set lunch is from rm$15++ to $40++ with all-day-long beer at rm$9.90 (4 draft beer choices). All set lunches do come with a free drink (not beer) as well as salad or soup.
The Pork Patty is 👌 and the Beer is also 👌 !
Morganfield have an All-day long Happy Hour beers for 3 types which is Carlsberg, Kronenboug, and Connors.
