The Aburi Mala Charshu Kombu Noodles was recommended by Small Potatoes Make The Steak Look Bigger. The noodles tasted like normal thicker springy noodles, and the charshu was sweet and very lightly numbing spicy, with a bit of bite.
While spicy food like this is not often my ideal choice of food selection, it will be unlikely that I will be back again for it.
At last I have tried this. Nothing earth shattering, but good hearty spicy tofu with just a bit of bite, and qq, savoury and spicy dan dan noodles.

First impression counts and the thing that intrigued me when I walked past One Fattened Calf (OFC) a few weeks ago was that it would take ...
Another homegrown brand, One Fattened Calf is opened by a husband and wife duo serving delicious hearty burgers.
The San Cubano was not bad, with the thinly-sliced roast pork shoulder filling moist and flavourful, nicely paired with the ham, cheese, pickles, crusty toasted bread and sriracha mayo. Not a bad sandwich.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to feast on restaurant food that’s made extremely affordable in a casual, unpretentious environment!

The time-limit was good to prevent us from over-ordering and over-eating.
Fans of the ramen place can rejoice because they have launched a Hearty Shrimp broth made from big prawns baked, hand ground till fine and simmered for more than eight hours with premium conpoy, clams and spices for more oomph.
Enjoying the food with a group of friends at Beauty In The Pot at The Star Vista is surely a good way to end the work week and especially for supper.
This place serves a lot of dishes (1 Fusionopolis Place #01-10, 6320-3477), but it got some attention online for its gukbab, especially given the frenzy around Um Yong Baek. Unfortunately, that set up the wrong expectation, as the broth wasn't as rich and savory, and the banchan here was unremarkable too. I still ate it all, and don't mind coming back if I'm nearby. But it's a far cry from Um Yong Baek.
Overall, Hoodadak does serve pocket-friendly lunch sets with generous portions and the flavours were decent enough. While I will not consider them my favourite Korean restaurant, it is nice to have a decent Korean restaurant around the office when I am craving Korean food
Visiting Fusionopolis on a weekday afternoon for lunch often means long queue at most eateries, and it didn’t escape my friends’ eyes that H...
The food was decent but the menu was very limited when it comes to mealtime. Perhaps the environment is good for some cakes and coffee during tea time.
With so many cafes in Singapore, a new entrant would not have generated much interest unless it is an import from popular overseas establish...
The best thing about Orange and Teal is the price point.
That's their bacon steak. Thick cut, salty an meaty with fat and smokiness.
We liked their capped loin of lamb enough to order them again even though we had a bad one at Suntec.
Had an unexpectedly decent teh with milk served in a beer mug. The hot tea had the right amount of condensed milk and creaminess that I thought was enjoyable.
Yes we ventured to Colbar today for lunch with our mates The Rusiecki’s.
I cannot believe that it has been a full seven years since we last visited Colbar. I searched iPhoto and the last I col find was when our BFF Gordy left us to
If we come back, then we need to remember to stick to the curry, which was probably the best thing that we had today. No wait, actually the best thing that we had today were the chips that accompanied the aforementioned steak.
Western Food Delivery Bread Yard Cafe Review ; rustic meatball linguine, cheesesteak sandwich, multigrain wholewheat loaf ($6).
It is a pleasant experience and the food is better than other bakery cafes we have been so far.
The Prawn & Bacon Aglio Olio (picture below) looked like a simple pasta dish garnished with prawn, bacon, chilli and cherry tomatoes. But beneath the calm appearance was a fiery taste of chilli.
Overall, we would say that although the food was not the most fantastic around, we still give props to Swee Lee for adopting such a refreshing concept to revitalise what used to be a plain old music instrument store.
Since Swee Lee Social Club is a music café, I thought the theme could have been stronger.
The food is decent here, considering the limited options in the “secret menu”; great for those who are just looking for a light bite to recharge.

Overall, I enjoyed the meal at Wok Palace as most of the a la carte dishes were very on point in their flavours and texture.
Wok Palace offers lavish tze char (煮炒) dining in a comfortable setting and originates from Wok Master and Coffee Hive family.
I feel Wok Palace is an exciting addition to our local Chinese restaurant establishments, given its background and the years they took to reach this stage.
Not bad - those ribs were reasonably tender and easily slid off the bone.
We though well of the Morganfield’s Sumptuous Christmas Feast 2017 and will surely recommend the Crackling Pork/Crispy Golden Pork, Candide’s Bacon and Morgan’s Christmas Feast.
Morganfield Christmas menu has been a merry host to my taste buds and it should be one towards you too.
The colonial bungalow in Rochester Park is one of the main draws of dining in this area. This is considered a mid-range restaurant if you are looking for a more intimate dining option in Buona Vista, though there are some hits and misses for me in terms of the dishes.
Gary’s Restaurant Review New Italian Restaurant at Rochester Park Singapore with pictures of menu and wine list with prices ...
Well, to be more precise, they said the bones of pig's heads. No actual pig's head are featured in the bowl. Just charshu.
Many may have known Ippudo as an ramen outlet but for the first time, Ippudo is collaborating with Hattendo and will be serving cafe inspired dishes and coffee offerings!
overall not good standard below par for an average chain like peach garden.
Beyond the oriental-themed premise that seats about 80-100 guests, Peach Garden debuts a collection of flavourful and innovative soup bases and must-have handmade meatballs.
An excellent BBQ beef brisket burger. I remember being previously disappointed by their overly-dry cheese burger. No such issues here – the shredded beef brisket was moist, possessed a good and multi-dimensional barbeque sauce flavour, and came together very nicely.
So yes, if you haven’t had a Burgs burger yet, you’re really missing out. Substantial portions. Incredible prices. Delicious buns. Comforting meal. What are you guys waiting for? 😆
My favourite is still the Le Signature Trio Shrimp Ramen ($19.90). The rich and flavorful broth with its distinctive smoky aroma is topped with fresh prawns, handmade ebiko prawn paste and prawn dumplings.
A winner of the 2018 Eatbook Top 50 awards, we’re excited that these tasty prawn noodles are now more accessible for those living in the West.
CBK verdict a must try Indian restaurant in the South of Singapore. The food is delicious and with the 50% promo it is just value for money. Cheers!!
It's not a bad bowl at all. I enjoyed it. Kinda did.
This is a bowl of a good Katong laksa and it is much better than the other one that is along East Coast Road.
It is good to know that we will be able to continue enjoying Roxy Laksa! With Chef Willin at the helm, I am confident that it should do well to preserve the unique taste of Roxy Laksa for future generations of Singaporeans to enjoy!
