The kueh pie tee was fresh, crunchy and flavourful, with a delightful kick from the sambal. The bush keluah fried rice was moist and fragrant of bush keluak, yet balanced in flavour and savouriness. The fried chicken was nicely flavourful too.

Second time back in as many weeks. The flavours of the bakwan kepeting, beef rendang and chap chye were rich, flavoured and yet nuanced with multiple spices. Very nice. The only regret was that the bakwan was machined minced rather than hand minced, and lacked texture.
The oyster paitan ramen became overly rich for me after a while; you could really taste the oyster paste and oyster oil though.
Meidi-Ya finally opened its new outlet at Great World City, and it came with a Dosanko Plaza food court that includes not just BENTOSS, but also a ramen stall called Nishiyama (1 Kim Seng Promenade #B2-120, 6771-1111). To be clear, Nishiyama is actually a noodle supplier (in fact, they supply Miharu, of all places). But somehow at this stall, they decided to branch out and provide everything else in the bowl too.
Overall, the oyster ramen at Konjiki Hototogisu Ramen is definitely special and unique.
Nirai-Kinai is a place specializing in Okinawan cuisine. It used to be located at Liang Court before it moved to Great World when Liang Court was demolished.
To be honest, I’m still salty over the fact that my family’s plans to visit Okinawa a few years ago fell through, especially since the global pandemic has forced everyone’s borders shut.
The environment is casual and welcoming with approachable staff.
I didn't enjoy this. The meat was chewy and had quite a bit of sinews.
Pork chop was also nice. Hearty, boned in and had a nice aroma from the grill.
If you want wholesome, honest-to-goodness bovine indulgences, this is the place to come to.
This was their braised bean curd with Chinese cabbage. Looked a lot soupier than the menu picture suggested. Also pretty good.
Tried their deep fried yellow croaker for the first time. These were really nice.
I enjoyed this Braised Luffa with Convoy ($13.90) a lot.
We were quite happy when we had these same items for takeaway. But having them served and presented on proper plates increased enjoyment by a few notches.
Overall. the Imperial Treasure takeaway food items travelled very well. If we were not so lazy and served these items on proper plates, it would have been a very authentic Chinese restaurant dining experience.
Overall, the newly opened Imperial Treasure Great World City is a nicer and improved version of the original one. It provided a great setting for our dim sum and sake lunch.
If you’re in the area and want something Cantonese, come here. The mains won’t disappoint.
The new casual dining concept is perfect for a quick bite, as well as a family meal with a selection of noodle, congee, rice and a la carte dishes.

Hot pot lovers now have even more to look forward to with the arrival of the wildly popular Uncle Fong Hotpot Restaurant in Singapore.
Overall, the food is generally delicious at P.S Cafe although the price point is slightly on the higher spectrum the atmosphere is really nice for chilling out and people watching. The desserts are the highlight of the cafe and usually don’t disappoint even though they are usually on the dense side and are quite filling on their own

Food at Issho Izakaya is Japanese cuisine. Ingredients are average and quality of execution can sometimes be poor. They're known for carrying over 70 labels of liquour, great for drink pairing. Portions are sized for communal group dining or for individuals. Prices are relatively high, budget about SGD $70 per person.
To Jason it has an authentic taste, that transports you to Penang. The generous portion of egg and big prawns comes together very well for him, along with the bean sprouts and koo chye (garlic chives for extra flavour). Little golden jewels of crispy lard stud the dish and Jason always asks for extra chilli to up the spice factor.
The Klang bak kut teh suffered from the same issue. The taste was good but we had to fish for the small pieces of pork ribs.
We had sayur lodeh. Vegetables were so tender.
Overall, we have an enjoyable Indonesian lunch at Tambuah Mas Great World City. The new B1 level of GWC has been extensively renovated. We can’t wait to try the other food outlets there.
The burger tasted like their ShackBurger with bacon and tomatoes even though it was Pepper Jack cheese they used.

Bento Dim Sum may not be the best name for the set meal as dim sum is just a small component of the overall meal.
Every one of the dim sum – the truffle mushroom bao, liu sha bao, almond cream bao and chilli crab tart – was pretty, delicate, refined and tasty.
Being one of those who enjoy plated desserts, House on the Moon is indeed a place that we enjoyed during our visit, and a space that we had least expected to find in a shopping mall.
