Char Siew Wan Tan Mee (big), 9.50 ringgit. Between the noodles and the rice, I thought the noodles were better. It was gooood, delicious. The noodles here are slightly thinner than usual, springy. The char siew was tender and juicy, provided the noodles with a lil sweetness. It was good, I’d give this dish a go again.
4-Star (out of 5). Famous Seremban Favourites have one of the best char siew that I have ever tasted. Nice contrast of light crisp and juicy soft textures. Delicate, perfect balance of savoury, sweet and natural porky flavours. This is the first time that I've ever used the "P" word to describe food in my blog.
Be prepared to wait for at least 15 minutes to 20 minutes during lunch time as the restaurant will be very packed. You might even have a hard time catching a staff to take your order or paying for your food!
Verdict: It was indeed a bustling place on weekends with both indoor and outdoor seating were fully occupied. The indoor was rather stuffy and hot, so the al-fresco seat would be a better choice if you’re planning to come here.
definitely a good place for early breakfast in PJ.
Overall, a satisfactory breakfast food hunt in PJ.
absolutely satisfied with the Charsiew Wanton Mee!
A wonderful find and something worth revisiting in the future!
禧興茶餐室 Restoran Xi Heng offers 烧蜡饭麺 Roasted items Rice/Noodle from lunch, and 3 other stalls from early morning 7am+ offering 蝦麺 Har Mee, 瓦煲老鼠粉/伊麺 Claypot Rat Noodle/Yee Mee, 猪肉粉/粥/猪肠粉 Pork noodle/Porridge/CCF Yong Tai Fu.
This particular stall in Restoran Xi Heng in Sunway Mas Commercial Center, Petaling Jaya is an offshoot from his father's prawn mee stall in Restoran Kam Heong in State PJ,New Town.
Overall, Yuen Kee is best at steamed fish exactly like advertised. If that is what you are looking for in a meal then you probably won’t go wrong here.
For benefit of doubt, maybe should revisit "Win Hao Dim Sum House" in future for other Setiawan famous street food.
Win Hao Dim Sum" with a positively experience, definitely worth coming back to sampling other Dim Sum plates.
Knuckle was with excellent broth. Tendons, rind and all.
The stall is managed by a local who took over the business from a lady from chinese who had return to China; she offered to teach him the recipe before returning to China for good.
Overall, a satisfactory fish noodle shop, wasn't disappointing.
Medley of yong tau fu and of course, their signature dish (me thinks), fish balls. The fried fu chok has a thin layer of fish paste underneath, luckily it was still crunchy. The taupok was quite all right, not so much of air but tofu. Fried stuffed tofu was also quite good, though you need some chili to give it more taste. Their fish balls are worth a special mention for they had such a bouncy texture, minus the fishy taste that it's almost unbelievable. So bouncy that they could be used a ping pong balls.
We ordered a Charcoal fire fried Hokkien rice vermicelli / thick yellow noodle, a bowl of Lor Mee in a sticky egg gravy topped with pork lard and generously ingredients and a plate of butter mantis prawns which were fleshy and with fragrant buttery floss. A great and tasty meal and they did not disappoint !!
We ordered one large Char siew Black Kampua (RM8.50) and one large Char siew White Kampua (RM8.50). The Sitiawan-style black kampua comes with noodles tossed in dark sauce and topped with beansprouts, fried shallots and spring onion as well as thick chunks of glorious char siew.
Reasons to visit: Value-for-money prices, clean contemporary setting, high quality ingredients, friendly owners and the chance to experience Sitiawan tradition make this a perfect spot for a memorable brunch or lunch.
常光顾这间海鲜饭店哦~ 好吃价格也不错,所以我真的很常去去哦! 周日早的话还有送汤呢~送完为止。
Let’s see what we ordered for our dinner. We ordered Dog Food, Classic Meatloaf, Baby Back Ribs, Crispy Bacon, Mixed Sausage Platter and Pig in a Blanket. I personally like the Classic Meatloaf and Dog Food. When I heard the name of Dog Food, I am like wow. Sound cool. Actually it is a fries bakes with gravy and cheese. For the Classic Meatloaf it actually is the combination of finely-minced pork and loaf. It is very juicy and tasty!
Please Note: This is a Non-Halal RestaurantDropped by Betty’s Midwest Kitchen at Aman Suria and Dataran Prima for an early dinner with the family. I’ve been...
Bottom Line: As someone who’s had Midwestern food for 4 years straight, I can vouch for the authenticity of Betty’s Midwest Kitchen’s food. With how long it’s been run, it would be a pity to see the diner come to a close when Kevin decides to retire. However, not every small business is built with the purpose of expanding or chasing profits, and Betty’s Midwest Kitchen is is an example of that.
I'd say good combinations, although a little salty as expected but tasty, appetizing, and satisfying meal.
Food today: 7 / 10 👍👍😋😋
This is the 8th visit to Milligram since October 27, and some days like today, the Café is almost empty before 12pm and then empty again after 2pm.
Would I come back? Maybe, just not on days when their crew is running at a bare minimum and live band playing.
If not this huge seafood tomyum pot? Then go for the popular pink soup. Yen Ta Fo (RM 39) represent hot pot with fishballs and tofu pieces and is another dish perfect for anyone who loves hot pot.
Rama’s Beloved Fried Donut Prawns (Tod Man Gong) (RM 18.90) Something NEW ! And this dish is sinfully good. The prawn donuts are made from the fresh minced meat together with prawns. It brings you with the crunchy bites of meat and inside moist, juicy and flavourful texture.
Ginger Wine Lala Soup with Noodles (RM 13) For fans of ginger, you will definitely love every mouthful of this. The hint of ginger are so good that I am totally indulged with it. I am loving the hint of ginger and they are well paired with the noodles itself.
Kenny’s Food Cart has been around since 1993 when Kenny’s father used to run the stall selling porridge at Alisan Road in Petaling Jaya. A few years ago, Kenny moved to their own restaurant at Kenny’s Food Cart in Aman Suria. Kenny continues the legacy with a new restaurant and a new business partner. After just months opening the restaurant, Ho Chak! a popular food TV program featured Kenny’s Food Cart on 8TV Malaysia. There were also many bloggers and friends gave good reviews on this restaurant.
Cantonese Style Loh See Fun, 8.50 ringgit Ooooo yum! Another yummy dish. I cant say I’ve had this particular dish with this thick of a noodle before. Yes, the noodles are usually short and thick but the ones here were thicker. I liked it, different but niceeee. The dish also came with minced meat, chicken, fried onions, spring onions, egg and etc. The soupy gravy was da bomb. The distinct taste of Chinese wine was more evident here – pleasant and not overwhelming. Yummy.
If you are staying at Aman Suria and craving for some good food, you must visit District 13 by 缔. This is truly a hidden gem at Aman Suria.
It is one of the café which surprises me with their awesome food and beverage. Located in Aman Suria, District 13 is one of the café which is worth to visit for those who café hopper. Their café comes
Bacon carbonara. This tops my list of weirdest combination. The pan fried sliced spam lends the creamy pasta a salty flavor. Then you have the shredded seaweed. Like, wait, what just happened there? I find that last ingredient there weird or maybe it's just my lack of understanding for fusion food. I wouldn't say this tasted bad, just an acquired one.
The rm$7 "豬扒冷米粉 Pork Chop cold noodles" Vietnamese style, is like a Super-Charged Power bowl of Salad.
the teh tarik and kopi are both definitely worth sampling!
"猪小弟の美食 Pig Brother House" offers Pork chop rice or noodles from rm$8 to rm$9.90.
