The crust is so crispy and the bun on the overall is so (but not overly) sweet, I love it! I reckon they used the same kind of patty as the one in the normal bun but it somehow tastes less bland and more savoury here. Perhaps the sweetness of the polo bun instantly compensates for the blandness of the patty on the taste buds!
The pork chop was definitely the star for me. I am considering getting it for my cheat day at the end of the week :) No matter how cramped the seating may be, the pork chop definitely is worth the slight discomfort. TLLK also serves Macau Curry Fish Ball (S$4.90), which sounds like something S will enjoy so I will bring him here again to get the Pork Chop, while he can get the Fish Ball.

Their chicken is certainly different in treatment, but – maybe because of air-conditioning – deteriorates really quickly. So it’s a good move they fry everything to order, but maybe that’s a lesson to be learned too. Sometimes comfort comes at a price.

Food at Joji’s Diner is American cuisine, specifically Southern style (Texas, Louisiana) fried dishes and all-day breakfast dishes.
Joji’s Diner is a retro All-Day Breakfast cafe in Upper Serangoon that serves delicious American Breakfast items like Chicken N Waffle!
While I felt that the French Onion Soup could use some work, the rest of the dishes (especially the Crab Meat Pasta) are definitely worth coming back for.
Despite being slightly secluded, this “Hidden Gem of Kembangan” has been one of my personal favourite dining spots which I would make an effort to travel for.

Amber Ember is a nice cafe where you can slow down and unwind. It has a limited menu but the food is interesting. The coffee is good.
Although the food has thought put in them and isn’t the usual cafe fare, it is strange to pair complicated food in a minimalist setting. They should have kept the food easy breezy. Less is more. We spent $66 for two persons, including service charge but there is no GST.
